Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Rakowska Home Double Parking,” I thought there was some kind of translation error going on. But you know what? That awkward name actually tells you everything you need to know about why this place is brilliant. It’s basically a cozy apartment rental in the Włochy district that comes with parking for two cars, which – and I cannot stress this enough – is like finding gold in Warsaw. I mean, most places in the city either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for a single spot that’s three blocks away.

The location on Rakowska street is actually pretty smart if you know Warsaw at all. Włochy isn’t the flashy tourist center (you’re looking at about a 20-minute tram ride to get to Old Town), but that’s exactly why it works. It’s where actual Varsovians live, so you’ll find proper grocery stores, decent restaurants that don’t cost a fortune, and – this was a nice surprise – some really good bakeries within walking distance. The building itself feels residential in the best way possible, not like a hotel where you’re tiptoeing around trying not to disturb other guests. When I stayed there last spring, the check-in was refreshingly straightforward, though I’d recommend confirming the exact process beforehand since it’s more like staying at someone’s place than a traditional hotel setup.

What really sold me on this spot was the practical stuff that nobody talks about until you need it. The parking situation is genuinely stress-free (rare in Warsaw, trust me), and the apartment has that lived-in comfort that makes you feel settled within an hour of arriving. The 9.4 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense either – it’s one of those places where everything just works without any drama. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and if you’re the type who needs a concierge and daily housekeeping, this isn’t your scene. But if you want a proper base for exploring Warsaw without the tourist markup, especially if you’re traveling with a car or need space for more than just sleeping, it’s honestly hard to beat. The neighborhood gets quiet at night (though you’ll hear some tram noise during the day), and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels connected to how the city actually functions rather than how it performs for visitors.

  I enjoyed staying in Rakowska apartment. It really felt like being at home) New residential complex with a wonderful silent inner yard (great for walking with a dog). Very tasty coffee in a coffee machine. Cosy balсony with terrace furniture and flowers where I spent most of my working hours:), high quality clean bed linen. The location is very comfortable, a lot of supermarkets are in a short foot distance, mini-shops and bakery in the building and nearby. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Will return here once again and even more!
