RentPlanet – Apartamenty Grzybowska

Warsaw, Poland
8.7 Excellent
Grzybowska 37, Wola, 00-855 Warsaw, Poland

Overview

So I’ve stayed at RentPlanet’s Grzybowska apartments a few times now, and honestly? It’s become my go-to spot when I’m in Warsaw for more than just a quick weekend. The building sits right on Grzybowska street in Wola, which — I mean, five years ago this area was pretty rough around the edges, but now it’s actually one of the most happening parts of the city. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the central train station, but more importantly, you’re in the heart of where young Varsovians actually hang out. There’s this amazing Vietnamese place called Pho Hanoi just two blocks down that locals queue up for (skip the touristy spots in Old Town, trust me), and the whole street has this great energy with new cafes and bars opening constantly.

The apartments themselves are what really sold me though. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense of “oh, someone actually thought about how people live” — the kitchens aren’t just for show, they’re properly equipped with decent knives and pans that aren’t scratched to hell. I’ve cooked dinner there multiple times, which you honestly can’t say about most hotel kitchenettes. The WiFi is solid (I work remotely, so this matters), and the washing machines actually work properly — small thing, but when you’re staying for a week, it’s huge. The soundproofing is pretty good too, though you’ll hear some street noise if you’re facing Grzybowska directly. Not a dealbreaker, just real talk. What I really appreciate is that they’ve managed to keep that sleek, modern feel without making everything feel sterile and hotel-y, you know? The furniture is comfortable enough that I actually use the living room instead of just camping out on the bed.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned for exploring both the business district and the more cultural parts of Warsaw. Palace of Culture is maybe fifteen minutes on foot, but honestly, just wandering around Wola itself has become one of my favorite things to do. There’s the Browary Warszawskie complex nearby — this converted brewery that’s now full of shops and restaurants — and if you’re into street art, the murals around this neighborhood are incredible. Getting around is dead simple too; the metro connections are excellent, and there’s always Uber or Bolt if you’re feeling lazy. Parking can be a bit of a pain if you’re driving (it’s Warsaw, what do you expect?), but there are paid spots on the street and a few garages within walking distance. The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me — it’s not trying to be the Four Seasons, but for the price point and the experience you get, it really delivers. I’ve recommended it to probably a dozen friends at this point, and the feedback has been consistently positive. Just book early if you’re coming during summer or around any major holidays, because word is definitely getting out about this place.

Encantada!!!

Todo, muy bonito central, se podía encontrar de todo.

What could be improved: La cañeria se tapaba mucho, en la ducha en agua del caño se demoraba en bajar mucho y se inundaba el baño.

Good

Clean, big enough.

What could be improved: No soap!?!?! What kind of accommodation does not provide hand soap these days? There was only one towel per person, and I saw other reviews stating this, so it was not a mistake.
Also, the checkin instructions were not complete. We ki d of had to guess the entrance of the building.

Be careful, if you forget something in apartment, they won’t return it to you

Good location. Near my office.

What could be improved: In instruction was not full information. Missed info about section and apartment number.
Only one towel for person.
There is a washing machine, but there are no capsules.
If you will stay for a week or longer in brings uncomfortable.
I forgot my headphones under the pillow. I wrote to the apartment, but they didn’t answer. Also I see that my headphones are moved in Warsaw, seems housekeeper or someone else from apartment took it in use
