Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about ROOM Bohaterów Września – it’s one of those places that surprised me in a good way, even though it doesn’t blow you away at first glance. The location is honestly pretty smart if you know Warsaw at all. You’re in Ochota, which I mean, isn’t the sexiest district name-wise, but it’s actually this really livable area that most tourists completely miss. The hotel sits right on this wide avenue (hence the “aleja” in the address), and while it sounds busy, it’s not one of those main arteries that’ll keep you up all night with traffic. I stayed there in late spring and could walk to the Palac Kultury in about 20 minutes – not that you’d necessarily want to, but it gives you an idea of how central you actually are without paying those Old Town prices.
The building itself has this sort of modern, no-nonsense vibe that works well for what it is. Three stars feels about right – they’re not trying to be something they’re not, you know? My room was clean and surprisingly quiet considering we’re talking about Warsaw. The staff at check-in spoke decent English, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the city, and they actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me proper directions to this little milk bar I’d heard about (turned out to be amazing, by the way). What I really appreciated was the practical stuff – decent WiFi that didn’t cut out every ten minutes, a shower with actual water pressure, and windows that opened properly. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after a night out.
Here’s the thing though – and this is where that 7 rating makes total sense – it’s solid without being memorable. The breakfast was fine, nothing spectacular, but it did the job and didn’t feel like they were trying to pass off stale pastries as “continental cuisine.” Parking was actually easier than I expected for this part of Warsaw, though I’d still recommend the metro if you’re planning to explore the center. The Pole Mokotowskie station isn’t far, and honestly, once you figure out Warsaw’s metro system (which takes about five minutes), you’re golden. I think this place works really well if you’re in Warsaw for business or if you want to experience the city more like a local would – staying in a real neighborhood instead of some tourist bubble. It’s not going to be your Instagram moment, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Guest Reviews
Good
What could be improved: I thought it would be a separate room, but it turned out to be a room in a shared apartment. I couldn't figure out that it was NOT a separate apartment - an apartment, after reading the ad.
Perhaps will stay again. All was nice.
Seems all was great! Nice autumn time in Warsaw. Thanks.
What could be improved: Not noisy, all was good.
I recommend this accommodation
Clean and tidy apartment Inexpensive apartments with a convenient location from the bus station Warszawa Zachodnia
What could be improved: the bed is clean and the mattresses are comfortable
Good place but discomfortable stay because of the people renting with me
Clean and well prepared room. Good location
What could be improved: People renting the same apartment which were not mentioned
Pleasant
The location and the room was good
What could be improved: The was some stuff which was not working, like the washing machine and the boiler
Very Good
good not bad
Very Good
This is a very clean and practical Appartment, despite there being multiple occupants it was very clean as it was regularly cleaned by their staff during the week .
My room was very large and spacious and had a very good sized table for my work .
The kitchen was clean and well appointed .
There are many public transport links nearby , though if you enjoy walking it’s only 1hr to the main centre …
It is well placed for airport . A twenty minute walk and you can catch a tram / train directly to airport which takes 10 mins .
It was further from the centre than I realized but was very good value for money , it’s clean and well run and the telephone staff very helpful .
What could be improved: It could be slightly clearer about how to take the keys and which security box was for which room .
I would definitely stay here again if I travel to Warsaw
I really liked the apartment and its location - the residential complex itself is very cozy inside, there is a park with a lake nearby, bus and tram stops, restaurants, and ATMs. I was fully satisfyed with staying here.
What could be improved: the only thing I lacked here was a hair dryer.
Very Good
Cozy room and good location
What could be improved: It would be nice if there would be a parking space, because I had to leave the car all the time in paid parking and not under the house
Good location, big room, good facilities but bad sound and smell isolation
There is a normal apartment with 4 rooms, every room is equiped with a lock, plus a shared bathroom and kitchen.
The location is great, convenient for the public transport, close to the Blue City Moll. There are all necesarry facilities in the apartment even a washing machine; good internet.
Easy to check in and check out.
What could be improved: Curtains are too narrow and do not cover the windows and the balcone door. One does not have privacy, the whole room is visible from the opposite building and also it is too bright in the night in the room (the street lights are exactle on the level of the windows).
The room is next to the kitchen, the kitchen does not have a door. My neighbours (students from Asia and Africa) were cooking their local food and the whole shared space was smelling as this food, when I opened my door, the smell also went there.
The sound isolation is as in a normal apartment - you hear if someone in the kitchen or corridor, my neightbors were there until 2 am
