Located on Kaliny Jędrusik street in Żoliborz, it’s tucked into one of Warsaw’s most genuinely livable neighborhoods, the kind where you’ll see locals walking their dogs at 7 AM and elderly folks chatting on benches in the afternoon. The apartment itself lives up to the “generous” part of its name – I mean, the living space actually feels like someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), and I found myself making coffee there every morning while looking out at the tree-lined street. The whole building has this solid, pre-war feel to it, thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet even though you’re right in the city.

What really sold me on this place was how it sits in Żoliborz – honestly, it’s like discovering Warsaw’s best-kept secret. You’re a quick tram ride from the Old Town (the 4 and 15 lines are your friends here), but the neighborhood itself has everything you actually need day-to-day. There’s a fantastic little market on Słowackiego street where I grabbed fresh bread most mornings, and the nearby Żeromski Park is perfect for an evening walk when you need to decompress from sightseeing. I loved that I could walk to Wilson Square in about ten minutes when I wanted more dining options, but then retreat back to this quieter pocket of the city. The apartment’s location also means you’re close to the Vistula riverbank – I discovered these great running paths that locals use, especially nice in the early evening when the light hits the water just right. Parking was actually manageable in this area too, which anyone who’s driven in Warsaw will tell you is no small miracle. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building entrance can be a bit tricky to spot at first (it’s not super clearly marked from the street), but once you know where it is, you’ll appreciate how tucked away and peaceful it feels. Check-in was smooth, and the host clearly knows the neighborhood well – they gave me some solid recommendations that definitely weren’t the typical tourist spots.
