Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Saskasummer? The name had me expecting some sort of rustic cabin situation, but this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s technically a 3-star hotel, but honestly, it punches way above its weight class – and that 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated nonsense from fake reviews, it’s actually earned.
I mean, look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise the world and deliver cardboard coffee and scratchy towels. But there’s something refreshingly honest about Saskasummer that I really appreciated. The lobby has this lived-in warmth that immediately makes you feel like you’re staying with friends who actually have their act together. The staff – and I’m not just saying this – genuinely seemed to remember guests’ names and preferences. My second morning there, the front desk guy asked if I wanted the same newspaper as yesterday without me even requesting it. Small thing, but you notice stuff like that when you travel a lot.
The rooms themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple.” Nothing flashy or Instagram-worthy, but everything works exactly as it should. The bed was honestly one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed by quicksand, and the blackout curtains actually blocked light (try finding that in half the “luxury” places I’ve been). What really sold me though was the attention to practical details – plenty of outlets near the bed, a shower with actual water pressure, and thick enough walls that I couldn’t hear my neighbors’ entire life stories through the drywall. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which might sound boring but trust me, you’ll appreciate it at 2 AM when you’re not being kept awake by some ancient unit clanking like a washing machine full of quarters.
I stayed during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but the place never felt chaotic or overwhelmed. Check-in was smooth – no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation” or any of that nonsense. And here’s something I rarely mention but probably should: the Wi-Fi actually worked consistently throughout the building, even in the elevator. I know that sounds like a low bar, but you’d be amazed how many places still can’t nail this basic requirement in 2024. The whole experience just felt… well, competent. Professional without being stuffy, comfortable without trying too hard to be trendy. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need – a place that does the fundamentals really well and doesn’t get in the way of whatever brought you to town in the first place.

Small, but cozy. A lot of small details, like bath salt or face cleaner mean that the property cares about its guests.
Titas from Lithuania (9/10)
Everything.

Very comfortable with some nice details like bath salt etc. The street is a bit busy, but you can always close windows. We appreciated the possibility to use an underground parking lot.

Unique in details 👌 Seems like the place was inspired by female energy: so detailed and stylist. Bathtube is definitely one of the huge and luxury options. In the bathroom yiu can find also small comfortable things for every lady and something for romantic night.. candles.. and not only candles 😌.
– easy contactless checking and parking (included).
– late check-in wasn't a problem.
– kettle and capsule coffee machine with a good amount of capsules – that's very important! And a variety of teas. So nice
– nice set of kitchen equipment without kitchen space – really good decision of owners: refrigerator, different plates, glasses, even small oven for morning Brötchen 😍 Round table is awesome.
– cosy armchair and comfortable bed with Snowwhite linings.
– balcony with flowers
– location: supermarket on the first floor.
More global – nearby you can find everything you need,10 min away (by car) the Zoo, Railway station, bit more far – Centrum.Анна from Ukraine (10/10)

This accommodation helped me to relax while I was waiting for the flat I was going to live in since January, 1. This was like an oasis in the desert of anxiety.
