You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Sawa Apartment when I first booked it – I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly, that rating system doesn’t tell you the whole story. Sometimes you stumble onto these gems that just get everything right in ways that matter more than fancy lobbies or overpriced minibars.

The thing about Sawa is that it feels like staying in someone’s well-curated home rather than a sterile hotel room. The apartments have this lived-in comfort that’s actually pretty rare – you’ll find proper coffee makers (not those terrible pod machines), decent-sized fridges you can actually use, and couches you’d want to sink into after a long day of wandering around. The beds are surprisingly good too, which I always worry about with apartment-style places. I slept better there than I have at some supposed luxury spots, if I’m being honest. The whole setup just makes sense for travelers who want to feel a bit more settled, especially if you’re staying more than a night or two.

What really won me over was the attention to small details that most places completely overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space – I could video call from the kitchen counter without those annoying frozen-screen moments. The shower pressure is solid (you’d be amazed how often this is an issue), and they stock the kind of toiletries you don’t immediately want to replace with your own. Plus, the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that drawn-out lobby theater some hotels insist on. The staff seemed to genuinely care about whether you had what you needed rather than just going through the motions.

I think what surprised me most was how quiet it stays, even though you’re not stuck in some remote location. The windows block out street noise really well, but you can still hear the neighborhood coming alive in the morning – it’s that perfect balance where you feel connected to the place without losing sleep over it. And honestly, for what you’re paying, the value proposition is pretty incredible. That 9.2 rating isn’t some fluke – it’s what happens when a place focuses on doing the fundamentals really well instead of chasing flashy amenities nobody actually uses.

  Cozy apartment located very well, close to public transport. It looks exactly as in the pictures, so no surprise here. Also, very important for me was the fact that the apartment is very silent. It is facing an interior courtyard so the hustle and bustle of the street is kept outside the apartment.

  The location is excellent, there is no breakfast, the apartment is good and well located in terms of light directions. The main problem is that there is no elevator and carrying heavy luggage up 3 floors is not easy for those who are not young people in their 20s
