You know what hits you first at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw? The lobby ceiling – I mean, it’s this soaring space that actually makes you stop walking and look up, which honestly doesn’t happen much in hotel lobbies anymore. The whole place has this polished marble thing going on, but not in an intimidating way. More like someone’s wealthy aunt who happens to have really good taste.

I’ve stayed here a few times now, and what I keep coming back to is how they’ve managed to feel genuinely luxurious without being stuffy about it. The rooms are spacious – and I mean properly spacious, not that “European spacious” where you’re doing yoga moves to get around the bed. The bathrooms have those deep tubs that you can actually fit in (if you’re into that), plus the shower pressure is honestly better than what I have at home. The beds are the kind where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed alive.

What really sells me on this place though is the location situation. You’re right in the heart of everything – the Old Town is basically a pleasant walk away, and you’ve got the Palace of Culture and Science looming nearby, which sounds intimidating but is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The staff here seem to genuinely know Warsaw, not just the tourist stuff. Last time I was here, the concierge pointed me toward this little bar tucked away on Nowy Świat that I never would have found otherwise.

The restaurant downstairs is solid – not groundbreaking, but you know, sometimes you just want a decent meal without having to think about it too hard. Their breakfast spread is pretty impressive, especially if you hit it early before the business crowd descends around 8:30. Pro tip: the coffee station by the windows gets the best morning light, and it’s usually quieter over there.

Look, I’ll be straight with you – it’s not cheap, and sometimes the elevator situation gets a bit chaotic during peak check-in times. But there’s something about walking back here after a long day of wandering around Warsaw’s cobblestone streets. The doorman always seems to remember your face by the second day, the lobby has this subtle jazz thing happening in the evenings, and your keycard actually works on the first try (which, let’s be honest, is rarer than it should be). It’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it’s supposed to, without any drama or surprises. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  The hotel is located in a great location for exploring Warsaw, the Old Town is a short 25 minute walk and shopping district 10-15 mins away.
  The hotel is really comfortable with excellent bedding. The room is well maintained and kept to a high standard.
  The room-service was excellent, really good value, tasted amazing and was delivered quite quickly. We also ate at the onsite Italian restaurant and the food was great with excellent service so would recommend it. They also have an asian restaurant which we didn't try but seemed busy.
  The shower was also good, with a decent sized bathroom, with hot water available at all times.

  My room was upgraded free of charge, so I got a really big one to enjoy everything! Everything is in very good quality. The variaty in breakfast is not super exclusive, but enough.

  I have stayed in the Sheraton a number of times, and was very happy to return. As usual, the room and hotel is clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, good Wifi and choice of food for breakfast. I felt very relaxed when in the hotel, which is exactly what I wanted. I definitely appreciated the complimentary water in the room due to the hot weather outside.
