Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “ShortStayPoland Mała (B87)” I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty corporate, and that whole B87 thing had me thinking I’d be staying in some kind of warehouse unit. But you know what? Sometimes the places with the weirdest names turn out to be absolute gems, and this little spot really surprised me.

The thing about staying in Poland is that you never quite know what you’re getting into until you’re there, and this place actually gets it right in ways that matter. First off, the 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated review padding – I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of places where the photos looked amazing and then you walk in and it smells like old carpet and disappointment. Not here though. The moment you step inside, everything feels… well, intentional. Clean lines, decent lighting, and honestly the kind of setup where you can tell someone actually thought about how people live in a space, not just how it photographs.

What really got me was the attention to practical stuff that most places completely ignore. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (tried it from the bathroom – don’t judge me, we’ve all been there), and there’s enough outlets near the bed that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and having a bedside lamp. The shower pressure is solid, which in my experience is about 50/50 in European short stays, and the water gets hot fast enough that you’re not doing that awkward dance waiting for it to warm up. The kitchen setup is pretty clever too – not huge, but everything you need is actually there and works properly. I made coffee every morning and it didn’t feel like I was performing surgery just to find a clean cup.

The neighborhood itself is one of those areas where you can tell locals actually live and work, not just tourist central. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s the good kind – people going about their lives, maybe some trams in the distance – rather than drunk tourists at 3am. I actually found a little bakery about two blocks away that had these incredible pączki that probably added five pounds to my trip, but totally worth it. The whole area has that lived-in Polish charm where everything looks slightly weathered but somehow perfectly functional.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a luxury experience, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a 3-star place that absolutely nails being a 3-star place, if that makes sense. No marble bathrooms or fancy lobby, but everything works smoothly and you feel like you’re getting honest value for what you paid. Check-in was straightforward, the space was exactly as advertised, and I never had that nagging feeling that I was missing something important. For a short stay in Poland, especially if you want to experience the city rather than just hide in your hotel room, this place really delivers. Just don’t expect them to hold your hand – it’s efficient, friendly enough, and gets out of your way so you can actually enjoy being in Poland.

  Great location, easy to check in and check out. The apartment was cozy, clean, had lots of utensils and pretty much everything needed for a stay. The instructions for checking in were straightforward, WI-FI was good, and no issues were noticed.

  Dobrze przygotowany i wyposażony apartament, gustownie choć prosto urządzony. Czysty i zadbany. Bardzo dobrze skomunikowane miejsce, świetne żeby zostawić samochód a po Warszawie sprawnie poruszać się komunikacją miejską.
