The thing about Sleep&Fly is that it’s positioned perfectly for what it does – you’re literally at Warsaw Chokepoint Airport (that’s what locals call Okęcie when the traffic’s backing up), but somehow they’ve managed to create this surprisingly peaceful bubble. The rooms are compact, sure, but they’re designed by people who actually understand what exhausted travelers need. The beds are properly firm, the blackout curtains actually block out light, and – this is key – the soundproofing is way better than you’d expect. I slept through what must have been the morning rush of departures without even realizing it. The whole setup feels more like a well-thought-out capsule hotel than your typical budget airport crash pad.

What really impressed me though is how the staff just… gets it. Check-in was smooth even at 2 AM (and trust me, I’ve dealt with plenty of grumpy night desk clerks), and they had this whole system down for people coming and going at weird hours. The shower pressure was actually decent – small victories, right? – and they stock proper toiletries, not those tiny bottles that disappear after one use. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because my connecting flight got moved, and they didn’t make it into this whole complicated ordeal like some places do. The WiFi held up fine for video calls too, which honestly surprised me given how many airport hotels struggle with connectivity when everyone’s trying to get online at once.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place – it’s got that rare combination of efficiency without feeling sterile. Yeah, it’s a 3-star spot and you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything fancy, but that 9.3 rating isn’t just inflated booking site nonsense. They’ve figured out exactly what their guests need and they deliver on it consistently. If you’re doing that classic Warsaw stopover thing or just need somewhere reliable near the airport that won’t leave you feeling gross in the morning, this is actually a solid choice. I’d definitely book it again, which is saying something because I’m pretty picky about where I sleep when I’m already dealing with travel stress.

  Excellent Hotel, close to the Airport. The staff and manager were exceptionally helpful, and accommodating, helping with cases, parking. I arrived in the early hours and they had everything ready and even made me a late breakfast.

  Everything was so perfect. All the necessities were supplied, there was even a coffee machine, teas and snacks. The room was so comfortable. The tram station is just in front of the hotel, which is a plus. The airport is so close, 5-10 minutes by car.
