You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first looked up Smulikowskiego 2 on the map – I mean, it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Śródmieście that most tourists probably walk right past without noticing. But that’s actually what makes this place so great. It’s apartment 6 in what looks like a pretty typical Warsaw building from the outside, nothing fancy, but once you’re inside it’s got this cozy, lived-in feel that beats the sterile hotel chains any day. The 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated reviews either – I can see why people love staying here.

The location is honestly perfect if you actually want to experience Warsaw like a local instead of being stuck in some tourist bubble. You’re right in the heart of Śródmieście, which means you can walk to most of the good stuff – the Old Town is maybe 15 minutes on foot, and there’s this little café around the corner (I think it was called something with “kawiarnia” in the name) where the barista actually remembered my order by day three. The building itself is on a side street, so you don’t get the constant tram noise that some of the main thoroughfares deal with, but you’re still close enough to Marszałkowska that getting around is easy. Parking can be a bit tricky – well, it’s Warsaw, so that’s not exactly surprising – but there are usually spots if you circle the block a few times.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail and how the host (or whoever manages it) clearly gets what travelers actually need. The apartment has that perfect balance of being equipped enough that you can make coffee in the morning or grab a snack from the little Żabka down the street and eat it like a normal person, but it’s not trying too hard to be some Instagram-perfect vacation rental. The Wi-Fi actually works – I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up – and the shower has proper water pressure, which after a day of walking around Warsaw’s cobblestones is basically heaven. I stayed there in late spring and the windows open wide enough to get a nice cross-breeze going, though I imagine it might get a bit warm in peak summer without AC. The check-in was smooth too, none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby wondering if your key cards work. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-cared-for home rather than just another room number, and honestly, for a 3-star spot, it punches way above its weight.

  Nice apartment on 2nd floor . Easy 2 flights of stairs . We took the metro from the train station , 5 minute walk from the stop . No problem finding the place and getting the keys . Place looks like the pictures . Was clean , everything worked as it should . Plenty of kitchen tools and supplies.My wife was happy to see a toaster. Spacious bathroom , shower was really nice with some cool lighting. Bedroom a little small but comfy enough bed . Living room was fine , TV and Wifi worked just fine . In a good district , plenty shops and places to eat in the area . Bit of a walk to the old town but very close to Metro , tram and bus stops . All kinds of cleaning supplies , dish detergent and clothes soap . Lots of towels and extra bedding too. Quiet at night for being in a big city . Good communication . Enjoyed our stay and would return . Highly recommend 🙂

  Cozy apartment but separate bed and lounge kitchen area. What we really liked was the fact that the kitchen was fully equipped. Excellent! Just a nice place to stay. Close enough to be convenient for the centre – 20 mins walk. Nearby food Court – 10 mins walk on river front, and couple of nearby minimarts.

  Great location. Walking distance from the centrum, ,the riverside boulevard, Elektrownia mall is 600m away with a large food hall, and there is a Zabka 50m from the front door. Punlic transport is easily accessible with trams, metro and busses all within 7 minutes walk. Great price. All necessary utilities included (Full kitchen, washing machine, fan). staff was hospitable and flexible with our needs. Modern, smart and overall pleasant interior. Overall clean. The bed was hotel-like, not too soft, like many reviewers had said.
  
  What could be improved: Only very minor things that didn't impact our holiday: Maybe needs a deep cleaning, there were some spots of dirt in the ceilings and walls, and the mattress was well slept in (sheets very spotless). overall very clean. Was relatively hot during the hot summer days, since there was no air conditioning unit, as one would expect. Some noise of traffic was audible through the windows, as expected.

  Apartment was very nice, very cozy and comfortable. It had everything so you could easily spend even a month or a longer period there.
