You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s actually everything the name promises – and honestly, that’s rare these days. When I first pulled up, I was relieved to see dedicated parking right there (no circling the block three times like you do at most city stays), and the garden isn’t some tiny patch of grass they’re trying to pass off as outdoor space. I mean, it’s legitimately spacious enough that the kids could run around while we figured out our bags.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like a sterile rental unit. The kitchen has proper counter space – I could spread out groceries and actually cook without playing Tetris with every dish. The bedrooms are genuinely roomy, which matters when you’re traveling with family and everyone needs their own corner to decompress. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during the day. You’d think with a 9.7 rating there might be some catch, but honestly the only minor thing is that the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the back bedroom (though it works fine everywhere else).

The whole setup just works for families in ways that hotels don’t – there’s actual storage space for everyone’s stuff, the living area doesn’t feel cramped when it rains and you’re all stuck inside, and having that garden access means coffee in the morning feels civilized instead of rushed. The hosts clearly know what they’re doing too; check-in was smooth and they left those little touches that show they’ve thought about what families actually need. It’s the kind of place where you settle in on the first day and immediately start planning to come back.
