But sometimes the places that surprise you end up being the ones you remember most. This little 3-star gem actually turned out to be one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed.

What struck me right away was how the place has this sort of understated confidence. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – no marble lobbies or overstuffed chairs – but everything they do, they do well. The studio setup is honestly pretty clever. I mean, you’re not getting a sprawling suite, but the space feels thoughtfully designed rather than cramped. There’s this attention to detail that you don’t always see at this price point… little things like actually decent lighting (thank god, because hotel lighting is usually terrible) and outlets where you actually need them. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two – it’s the kind of place that grows on you as you notice all the small things they got right.

The staff really knows their stuff, which I appreciate. Not in that overly rehearsed concierge way, but more like they genuinely want to help you figure out the area. They’ll point you toward the good coffee spot that’s not overrun with tourists, or mention that the street gets a bit lively on weekend nights (nothing crazy, just… you know, urban life). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that drawn-out process where they try to upsell you on everything. And honestly, the whole vibe just feels more authentic than a lot of places that cost twice as much. It’s the sort of spot where you can actually imagine locals staying when they have visitors in town, which is always a good sign. If you’re looking for something that feels genuine rather than generic, Studio Tamka delivers in ways that surprised me.

  The location is in a very beautiful area, close to the public transport station, 300m from the metro station and 350m from the Chopin Museum. There are plenty of markets for buying food in the area. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, very clean, with almost all useful things. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. In addition to the kitchen utilities, there are a dishwasher, a coffee maker, an electric mug, a fan, a washing machine, an ironing machine, a vacuum cleaner. There is an elevator and an intercom. The breakfast delivered daily is ok, it is the same every 2 days, but it was not an inconvenience. As a small improvement, a roll of kitchen paper and a roll of garbage bags would be useful. The WiFi connection is very good.

  The flat is great but during the nighttime it might be a bit noisy! But in general, it was a great experience.

  The apartment is small, but very confortable and has everything you need (as you can see in the pictures). The location is great and the breakfast is provided every morning at your door (very early morning). I personally like this areas in Warsaw and would stay at this apartment again. Recommended.
