The lobby has these huge windows that let in ridiculous amounts of natural light, and they’ve got this smart setup with mirrors and light-colored furniture that just amplifies everything. It’s not fancy – I mean, we’re not talking marble floors or crystal chandeliers – but it’s thoughtfully done. The front desk staff actually seem to enjoy their jobs, which is rarer than it should be. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise room assignments three floors away from the elevator.

The rooms themselves are where this place really shines, though. Mine had this corner setup with windows on two sides, and I swear the morning light was better than my expensive coffee maker at home.
