Hotel Description
You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw the name SuperApart Jana Pawła II 18 – it sounds more like an address than a hotel, which I guess it sort of is. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s right on one of Warsaw’s main arteries, which sounds like it’d be noisy, but the windows are surprisingly good at keeping the street sounds out. I mean, you’ll hear some traffic if you’re really listening for it, but it didn’t keep me up at night or anything. The location is pretty brilliant though – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture and Science (that massive Stalin-era tower you can’t miss), and the central train station is close enough that you can hear the occasional announcement if you open the windows, but far enough that it’s not annoying.
The apartments themselves have this clean, no-nonsense vibe that I actually prefer to overly decorated hotel rooms. Everything feels sturdy and well-maintained, not like those places where you’re afraid to lean too hard on anything. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – I made coffee every morning and even cooked a simple dinner one night with groceries from the Żabka convenience store downstairs (super handy, by the way). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that drawn-out process where they try to upsell you on everything. The staff member who showed me around spoke excellent English and gave me some solid recommendations for restaurants in the area – honestly better advice than most concierges I’ve dealt with.
What really won me over was how the place feels once you’re settled in. The heating works properly (crucial in Warsaw winters), the shower has decent pressure, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff without living out of a suitcase. I stayed during a busy conference week in autumn, and while the nearby hotels were charging ridiculous rates, this place kept things reasonable without feeling cheap. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings – there’s this great pierogi spot called Zapiecek just a few blocks away that locals actually eat at, not just tourists. Walking back at night felt completely safe, with plenty of people around and good street lighting. Sure, it’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but sometimes you just want somewhere clean, comfortable, and genuinely well-located without paying luxury prices. The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s exactly what it promises to be, just done really well.

Nice, well located apartment. – Colin from United Kingdom – June 1, 2025 (8/10)
Clean, comfortable and spacious. Location is good, close to the main transport hub and 15-20 minute walk to the old town.
It’s very quiet but close to restaurants and shops.
What could be improved: A minor annoyance was the curtains in the bedroom were very thin and didn’t cover the whole window which meant it was very light early in the morning.Great… Good to go!! – Xevier69 from United States – June 18, 2025 (9/10)
Location!
What could be improved: Noise…Very Good – Johana from Argentina – September 27, 2024 (8/10)
The apartment was super clean and fully equipped. The location is perfect, with public transport at your doorstep, and only a short walk to the main train station. All you need for a comfortable stay is within a short walking distance. The sofa beds are very comfortable.
What could be improved: There was a leak inside the wardrobe coming from the floor upstairs (and there was a humidity stain in the ceiling), so we could not use it to store anything. We notified the property upon arrival but they did not fix it during our stay. FYI, there is no cleaning or towel replacement during the stay, we had to buy extra toilet paper, but no big deal.Good – Irma from Lithuania – September 25, 2024 (7/10)
great location because it's easy to get everything around.
What could be improved: need a ittle cosmetic repair.Wonderful – Irina from Latvia – December 19, 2023 (9/10)
