You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from SuperApart Nowolipki 23 when I first booked it – the name’s a bit of a mouthful, honestly – but this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into this residential street in Wola that feels properly local, not touristy at all. The building itself has that classic Warsaw pre-war charm (well, reconstructed post-war, but you get the idea), and when you step inside the apartment, there’s this immediate sense of someone actually caring about the space. The design hits that sweet spot between modern and cozy – think clean lines but with actual personality, not the sterile minimalism you sometimes get with these urban rentals. I mean, there are real books on the shelves and artwork that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog. The kitchen’s properly equipped too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab groceries from the little shops along Nowolipki rather than eating out every meal.

What really sold me on this place was the neighborhood vibe. Wola’s having this moment right now – it’s not quite as polished as the Old Town or as trendy as Praga, but that’s exactly why it works. You’re close enough to everything (the metro’s maybe a 10-minute walk) but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can actually hear yourself think. There’s this fantastic little café called Stor just around the corner that does proper coffee, and if you head toward Kercelak, you’ll find some genuinely good pierogi spots that locals actually frequent. The apartment itself gets lovely light in the mornings – those big windows face east, so you’ll wake up naturally even if you forgot to set an alarm. One small thing though: the building can get a bit echoey in the stairwell, especially when people are coming home late, but honestly, it wasn’t enough to bother me, and the actual apartment stays pretty quiet.

The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a typical rental. Check-in was smooth (they send you detailed instructions with photos, which I appreciated), and there’s this attention to small details that makes a difference – good shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually work, fast wifi that doesn’t cut out when you’re trying to video call home. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense to me; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I wanted to experience Warsaw more like someone who lives here rather than just passing through. Plus, you’re walking distance from the uprising monument and close enough to Żoliborz if you want to explore that area too – though honestly, I found myself spending more time just wandering around Wola and discovering little corners I never would have found staying somewhere more central.

  Good location. Very clean and in good repair. Spacious apartment with French doors onto balcony. Windows opened which was very helpful as temperature was 32 to 34 degrees Celsius while we visited.
  
  What could be improved: No air conditioning. A toaster would be useful for breakfast. A little more detail about how to get in to the apartment on first arriving would be helpful. We struggled to find out how to open the main door. We didn’t know that you need to enter the apartment number, then the button with key sign, and then the code. We were lucky to have some help from a lady passing by at the time we arrived. Also getting access to the wifi was not as described. There was no SUPERAPART network. It had been reconfigured to the original network by a previous guest. However, Kamil was very helpful when we contacted him.

  Great location, silent and calm area around, spacious apartment equipped with all necessary things.

  Dobra lokalizacja, blisko do atrakcji turystycznych Warszawy. Apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony w niezbędne rzeczy kuchenne , ponadto do dyspozycji mieliśmy żelazko, deskę do prasowania i pralkę. Pościel i ręczniki- czyste i pachnące. Polecam! 🙂
