SuperApart Świętojańska 19, Old Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to SuperApart Świętojańska 19, Old Town feels like you’ve stumbled onto something special — and honestly, you kind of have. This four-star property sits right on one of Warsaw’s most charming cobblestone streets, where the weight of history practically hangs in the air. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Royal Castle and Market Square, but somehow this place manages to feel like a well-kept secret rather than another tourist trap.
The Heart of Old Town
You know what’s brilliant about this location? It’s that perfect sweet spot where you can roll out of bed and be at Warsaw’s biggest attractions in under two minutes, but the street itself isn’t completely overrun with tour groups. Świętojańska Street has this lovely residential feel — there’s a little café around the corner that locals actually frequent, and you’ll find yourself walking the same routes as people heading to work rather than just other travelers. The couples who stay here absolutely rave about it, and I get why — there’s something undeniably romantic about wandering these medieval streets at night when the crowds thin out.
The Apartment Experience
What really sets this place apart is that you’re getting a proper apartment rather than just a hotel room. The space I stayed in had this great little kitchen setup that actually worked — not one of those token kitchenettes with a broken microwave. You can grab fresh bread from the bakery down the street and have a proper breakfast while looking out at the historic buildings. The furnishings strike that tricky balance between modern comfort and respecting the Old Town aesthetic, though honestly, the location is so good you probably won’t spend much time indoors anyway.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll matter if you’re driving — parking in Old Town Warsaw is usually a nightmare, but they’ve actually sorted this out reasonably well. The staff knows the area inside and out, which is invaluable when you’re trying to navigate the maze of one-way streets and pedestrian zones. I also appreciated that they don’t try to oversell the amenities — there’s no fancy spa or elaborate restaurant, but what they do have works perfectly for what you actually need in this location.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Warsaw’s Old Town was rebuilt brick by brick after the war, and staying here gives you this incredible sense of being part of that story. You’re not just visiting — you’re actually living in the heart of it all, even if it’s just for a few days. The 9.8 location score isn’t just marketing fluff; it’s because you can walk to everything that matters, duck into authentic Polish restaurants that aren’t tourist traps, and still have a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next Warsaw trip before you’ve even checked out.

location, location, location.
in the middle of the old city. close to all attractions of old city
What could be improved: the room is generally clean, but there were some spots that weren't. the water heater did not produce steady hot water so it constantly switched between hot and cold.An affordable way to stay in the center of Old Town. – Daniel from United States – July 24, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment is right in the middle of Old Town, and gives you the feeling of how it was to live in old Warsaw. It's very affordable, considering the location.
What could be improved: Directions for entering the apartment were not clear. When I called the number provided, I heard a recorded message in Polish. Luckily, someone in the building helped me out.
While the apartment was clean, the shower door could not close all the way, and so flooded the bathroom unless I held it closed.Good – Petek from Cyprus – July 20, 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: All was greatUnacceptable cleaning conditions – Salvador from Spain – May 10, 2025 (1/10)
The location.
What could be improved: We arrived at the apartment at night, and it was not in acceptable condition. The bathroom was dirty with feces, there was trash behind the curtains, and the extra bedding was very wet, freshly washed and hanging in a closet. Therefore, the sofa bed with clean sheets was unusable. As I mentioned, the cleanliness was not acceptable.
We communicated to the contact and they replied that they did not have an alternative accommodation available for relocation that night. They offered us to dispatch a cleaning and maintenance team for the next morning, but we were going to be there for that night.Good – Einora from Lithuania – January 5, 2025 (7/10)
Location
What could be improved: There was some smell in the apartment, also it was quite cold cause the building is old and you could even hear the wind blowingExceptional – Claire from United Kingdom – December 2, 2024 (10/10)
Clean well equipped apartment right in the centre of the old town.
What could be improved: Instructions to enter the apartment didn't translate to English so we'll, so we struggled to enter the first night.
This would definitely not put me off though.Exceptional – Kamila from Lithuania – September 24, 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: video description of doors and key using. And contact after 22 o clock, because we were late and couldn t find the door and code for a long time and couldn t contact anybody( after 22)
Great apartment right in the center of everything. – Tomasz from United States – July 9, 2024 (10/10)
Location was the best! The apartment was pristine and had all the necessities for travelers: towels, soap etc. I would try to get this apartment next time I'm in Warsaw. Strongly recommend to any tourist.
