I’ll be honest – SuperApart Tamka 17 caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how apartment hotels can be hit or miss? Well, this one’s definitely more hit than miss, though it’s not trying to be fancy or anything. The location on Tamka Street is actually pretty brilliant if you know Warsaw at all. You’re basically tucked into this quiet residential pocket of Śródmieście, but here’s the thing – you can walk to the Royal Castle in maybe ten minutes, and the Vistula riverbank is right there when you need to escape the city buzz. I mean, I’ve stayed in places that claim to be “centrally located” but you end up hiking forever to get anywhere interesting. Not here.

The building itself has that classic Warsaw character – you know, the kind that survived everything and has stories to tell. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (I was expecting some confusion since it’s an apart-hotel setup), and the woman at reception actually gave me useful tips about where to grab groceries nearby, which honestly saved me from wandering around looking lost. The apartments themselves are pretty spacious for European standards – I had room to actually unpack, which doesn’t always happen. The kitchen setup is legit too, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. I ended up cooking a few meals because there’s a decent Żabka just around the corner, plus a proper grocery store if you walk toward Nowy Świat. The WiFi worked fine for video calls, though I noticed it got a bit sluggish in the evenings when everyone was probably streaming.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Tamka Street isn’t one of those main drags where trams are clanking by at all hours. You get the occasional car, but it’s more like gentle city white noise than anything disruptive. The 7.7 rating feels about right, actually. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but everything works, it’s clean, and the value is solid for what you’re getting in that part of Warsaw. I had a minor issue with the shower pressure (it’s adequate but not amazing), and the air conditioning took forever to cool things down during that heat wave in July. But honestly? Those are pretty minor complaints when you consider you’re getting apartment-style space in the heart of the city without paying tourist-trap prices. The three-star rating is fair – it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and turndown service, look elsewhere. But if you want a comfortable base for exploring Warsaw with the freedom to come and go as you please, this place works really well.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Warsaw at least two months ahead for major events like music festivals or business conferences, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near attractions.

  What could be improved: There was not good smell in bathroom when we arrived. Also there were not enough shower gel and shampoo for 4 days stay.

  What could be improved: You can't close washing cabin doors, water is leaking to the bathroom. There is no ventiliator, outside was 30 degrees so it is really hot inside without it

  Location was propper for our needs, apartment quite small but cosy.
  
  What could be improved: Check in from 16,00. As we had 8 hour trip to Warsaw, came a bit earlier. Contacted the hosting company, asking for possibility to check in earlier, but we were told to wait till 16.00. 16.30 – still standing outside the empty key safe. Then it figured out, that somebody forgot to leave the keys in the outside safe. About 17.00 accidentally got inside the building and found the keys in the inner key safe near the flat door. Got in after 2 hours waiting, an hour later than official check in 🙁 Turned on the TV – no internet. No internet – no TV, no Radio, sad 🙁 Came to Warsaw to the concert with very little extra time, but thanks to these misunderstandings, had no extra time at all.

  It was good location, exactly what we needed, it was walking distance till PGE arena.
  
  What could be improved: room was quiet dirty, lots of dusts everywhere. Floor was extremely dirty, white socks turns dirty in few minutes, in general apartment was renovated with goos sense of style but in very budget saving way. Bed sheets and blankets are super thin and low quality. Shower has strange smell. its clear that just chmage sheets and no more cleaning is done thete after guests leave. Would not recommend. You can get hotel room on same tamka street fot this money and get clean stay 🙂
