But sometimes the most awkwardly named spots turn out to be hidden gems, and this 4-star apartment really surprised me in the best way.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you’re dealing with anything medical-related. Being right across from both Medicover and the Paley Institute means you’re literally a two-minute walk from world-renowned orthopedic care – which explains why half the guests I chatted with in the lobby were either patients or family members. But here’s the thing that caught me off guard: even though it’s positioned for medical tourism, the apartment itself feels nothing like a sterile hospital hotel. The moment you step inside, there’s this warm, lived-in quality that makes you forget you’re staying somewhere so clinical-adjacent. The furnishings are actually stylish (not that generic hotel beige everything), and whoever designed the lighting knew what they were doing – it’s soft enough to feel cozy but bright enough that you can actually read without squinting.

What really sold me was the attention to practical details that most places completely miss. The kitchen isn’t just for show – it’s got proper cookware, a coffee machine that doesn’t suck, and enough counter space to actually prepare a real meal. This matters more than you’d think, especially if you’re staying for medical reasons and need to stick to specific dietary requirements. The Wi-Fi is rock solid throughout (I tested it obsessively because I had work calls), and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering how close you are to the medical district. I barely heard any street noise, even with the windows open. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no long lines or complicated key card systems that never work on the first try. The staff genuinely seemed to get that people staying here might be dealing with stressful situations, so there’s this underlying thoughtfulness in how they handle everything. Honestly, that 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a few days there. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails all the things that actually matter when you need a reliable, comfortable base near medical facilities without feeling like you’re camping out in a hospital waiting room.

  Very good instructions and easy contact with owner. Warm and nice apartment. Everything that could be needed was there. Including washing machine. Quiet apartment and no sound from neighbours. Easy parking and also good that they sort out garbage in different materials. Good for the environment, sustainable thinking.
