Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place in Włochy, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s not exactly the postcard part of Warsaw that tourists usually gush about. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are tucked away in these residential neighborhoods where actual Varsovians live their lives. The 7th Floor apartment (yes, it’s literally on the seventh floor) surprised me in all the right ways.
The balcony is what sold me immediately – not some tiny Juliet thing, but an actual space where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. There’s something oddly satisfying about being up high enough to see over the rooftops but still close enough to hear kids playing in the courtyard below. The workspace setup is legit too, which matters if you’re one of those digital nomad types or just need to catch up on emails without hunching over a bed. I actually got more work done here than in some fancy business hotels, probably because there’s decent natural light and – this is key – a proper chair that doesn’t make your back hate you after an hour.
What I really appreciated was how the whole place felt lived-in but not worn out, you know? Like someone actually cares about maintaining it rather than just cramming in as many bookings as possible. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Biedronka and cook something real instead of eating out every meal – which, let’s be honest, gets expensive fast in any city. Włochy isn’t where all the trendy restaurants are anyway, so having a functional kitchen is actually perfect. The area is proper residential Warsaw, which means you’re getting a taste of how people actually live here rather than the sanitized tourist bubble around the Old Town. Sure, you’ll need to hop on the metro or grab an Uber to reach the main sights, but honestly? After a day of sightseeing, coming back to this quiet neighborhood feels like a relief. The building itself is one of those communist-era blocks that looks intimidating from the outside but turns out to be solid and surprisingly quiet inside – thick walls, good insulation, none of that paper-thin nonsense you get in some modern places.
That 9.7 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense either. The whole experience from booking through Rentujemy was smooth, check-in was straightforward, and when I had a minor question about the heating, someone actually responded quickly instead of leaving me hanging. It’s the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff, establish a routine, and feel like you’re staying somewhere rather than just passing through. If you’re the type who values having your own space over hotel services you’ll never use anyway, this hits the sweet spot.
