You know what? I almost walked past Tylko dla Orłów the first time I stayed there – and honestly, that would’ve been a huge mistake. The name means “Only for Eagles” in Polish, which sounds pretty dramatic for what looks like a modest 3-star place from the outside, but there’s something genuinely special happening here that the 9.2 rating actually undersells.

The thing about this hotel is that it feels like someone who really cares about hospitality decided to create the kind of place they’d want to stay at themselves. I mean, sure, you’re not getting marble lobbies or those fancy rainfall showers, but what you get instead is this warm, lived-in atmosphere that’s honestly refreshing after dealing with so many cookie-cutter chain hotels. The rooms have this comfortable, almost homey quality – like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s apartment, if your aunt had really good taste in bedding and actually understood what travelers need. The floors creak just a little when you walk around (I’m talking charmingly creaky, not worryingly creaky), and there’s always this faint smell of fresh coffee drifting up from somewhere downstairs.

What really got me was the attention to small details that you don’t usually find at this price point. The staff – and I swear this isn’t just Polish hospitality stereotype stuff – genuinely seem to remember your name after the first day, and they’ll actually give you useful local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist traps. When I asked about finding good pierogi, the desk clerk drew me a little map to this family place three blocks over that I never would’ve discovered otherwise. The WiFi actually works throughout the building (revolutionary concept, I know), check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and they somehow manage to keep things quiet even though you can tell the building has some history to it. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period in late spring, but never felt crowded or rushed. There’s something about the pace of this place that just works – it’s efficient without feeling impersonal, comfortable without being fancy about it. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, keep looking, but if you want that increasingly rare experience of feeling like you’re staying somewhere that actually cares about making your trip better rather than just checking boxes, this is your spot.

  I recommand this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Warzawa, excellent as starting point. Welll equipped with everything necessary. Gret value for the money. Big rooms and jaccuzzi…+They accept pets! Safe underground parking for the car.

  I really liked this apartment. Very comfortable, has all utilities. Nice kitchen, beds and sofa. Stores to buy food are close. I was using train station to get to city center and back multiple times. The station is quite close. Overall the impression is very positive.

  The owner of the apartment was a pleasure to deal with, he was attentive and helped resolve any issues that arose.
  Nearby, within 5-10 minutes' walk, there are supermarkets and an excellent park with a wonderful playground for children.
  The location is good for those who travel by car – there is a parking space, but it takes a long time to get to the center by public transport.

  Nothing special, planes pass very low on the apartment with scary noise because flying very low. Arrived in the apartment to find 33c and there were no fans, not one bottle of water or a single glass. It took him him 2 days to bring us fans but was still unbearable and we left and stayed 3 days in a hotel. Came back on the final day to collect our belongings and we left.
