Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Warsaw over the years, and honestly? Under Copernicus Old Town Apartment is one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, but it’s actually perfect – you’re literally right on Krakowskie Przedmieście, which is basically Warsaw’s main artery through the historic center. I mean, step outside and you’re already walking the Royal Route that connects the Old Town to the castle. The apartment itself sits in this gorgeous old building (the kind with those thick walls that actually keep street noise out – trust me on this one), and while it’s technically rated as a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight. That 9.8 rating isn’t just numbers; you feel it the moment you walk in.

What I love about this spot is how it gets the balance right between being authentically Warsaw and actually comfortable for travelers. The apartment has this lived-in elegance – you know, the kind where someone clearly thought about what you’d actually need rather than just throwing in generic hotel furniture. The kitchen’s properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), which is clutch because there’s this fantastic little market on Nowy Świat just a few minutes’ walk where locals actually shop. And speaking of walking – honestly, you won’t need taxis or the metro much from here. The Old Town Square is maybe ten minutes on foot, the Presidential Palace is practically next door, and if you’re into the whole café culture thing, you’re surrounded by spots that aren’t tourist traps. I particularly love how quiet it gets in the evenings, even though you’re right in the thick of things during the day.

The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hunting for a reception desk that doesn’t exist. What really sold me though was the little details that show someone actually cares about this place. The windows are proper double-glazed (you’ll appreciate this if you’ve ever tried sleeping near European city traffic), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently. I mean, it sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places get this stuff wrong. The location puts you right in Śródmieście, which is the heart of everything, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with groups of tourists stumbling past your window at midnight. During my stay in late spring, I could walk to morning coffee at one of the traditional milk bars, spend the day exploring without ever needing public transport, and still feel like I was staying somewhere peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next Warsaw trip before you’ve even checked out.

  Everything was perfect! The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The location was great – close to the city center and public transport, but still quiet and peaceful. What meant a lot to us was that the hosts kindly allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, which really helped after a long trip. They were very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw!

  Mieszkanie wyposażone we wszystko co potrzeba. Bardzo wygodne lóżka, czysto, lokalizacja rewelacyjna, blisko komunikacji miejskiej. Świetnie miejsce do zwiedzania.
  
  What could be improved: Minus za odpływ w łazience, woda źle odpływała oraz brak baterii w pilotach do TV. Brakowało też trochę blatu w kuchni do przygotowania posiłku.

  Nowocześnie urządzone i dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie (nawet w tak nieoczywiste sprzęty jak pralka i zmywarka), idealne dla 4 osób w świetnej lokalizacji (pomimo adresu przy Krakowskim Przedmieściu w nocy było cicho). Czystość bez zarzutu. Wszystkie urządzenia wewnątrz były sprawne.
  
  What could be improved: Szkoda, że w kuchni nie było chociaż soli i pieprzu. W mieszkaniu nie było systemu nagłośnienia, który jest widoczny na zdjęciach, a niektóre elementy były uszkodzone (lampa w salonie nie miała jednego klosza, piloty nie miały klapek, odpływ liniowy pod prysznicem się zapychał).
