I found myself doing this embarrassing thing where I’d wake up early just to catch the sunrise with my coffee (they’ve got a decent little setup for making your own, nothing fancy but it does the job). The Netflix thing might sound like a throwaway amenity, but after a long day of exploring, there’s something perfect about sinking into their surprisingly comfortable couch and binge-watching something mindless. The WiFi actually holds up too, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always a given in smaller places like this.

What really sold me on the space was how thoughtfully it’s put together. The studio layout could’ve felt cramped, but whoever designed this really knew what they were doing. There’s this clever way the furniture is arranged that makes everything flow naturally, and the lighting is spot-on for both daytime hangouts and evening wind-downs. I particularly loved this little reading nook by the window – perfect for those lazy afternoon moments when you don’t want to be social but still want to feel connected to the world outside. The bed situation is solid too; I’m pretty picky about mattresses and this one hit that sweet spot between firm and soft. One tiny heads-up though – if you’re a super light sleeper, there can be some street noise in the early morning hours, but honestly it’s more like gentle urban background hum than anything jarring. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that you just can’t fake – like staying at a friend’s apartment if your friend happened to have excellent taste and actually bothered to keep things clean. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward lobby hovering while they figure out their system. For what you’re paying, especially considering that view and the overall experience, it’s honestly kind of a steal.
