Honestly, when I first stumbled across this little gem tucked away in Warsaw’s Old Town, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. I mean, boutique hotels can go either way, right? But walking through those doors – wow. There’s something about the way they’ve preserved the vintage character while actually making it comfortable that just works. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling with original hardwood floors that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a building with real history, not some sterile chain hotel trying to fake it.

What really got me was how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. The guy at reception didn’t just hand me a tourist map – he marked up his own copy with spots where locals grab coffee (there’s this tiny place on Piwna Street that doesn’t even have a proper sign) and warned me that the main square gets absolutely packed around 2 PM when all the tour groups converge. Smart intel, you know? The rooms themselves are… well, they’re not huge, but they’ve got character. Mine had these gorgeous tall windows that let in amazing light during the morning, though fair warning – if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs because you can hear the cobblestone streets come alive pretty early. It’s not loud exactly, more like the gentle hum of a city waking up, which I actually found kind of charming.

The location is what really seals the deal though. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the Royal Castle, and I discovered this wonderful thing where if you head out around 7 AM, you basically have those stunning medieval streets to yourself for photos. Plus – and this might sound weird but trust me on this – the hotel sits just far enough from Krakowskie Przedmieście that you avoid the worst of the evening crowds, but close enough that you can still hear the street musicians if you open your windows. There’s no parking on-site (honestly, you don’t want to drive in Old Town anyway), but they’ve got an arrangement with a garage about five minutes away that won’t completely destroy your budget. I kept thinking about that 9.9 rating while I was there, wondering if it was too good to be true, but by my third day I got it – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, it’s just genuinely good at what it does.

  Das kleine 1 Zimmer, Küche, Bad, Appartment war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche war sehr umfangreich ausgestattet. Es liegt direkt in der Altstadt, so dass Bars, Restaurants und Geschäfte leicht fußläufig erreichbar sind. In der Nähe befinden sich öffentliche, kostenpflichtige, Parkplätze. Das große und bequeme Doppelbett wird nur durch einen deckenhohen Schrank vom Flur und einen Vorhang vom Zimmer mit Schlafsofa abgetrennt. Das Bad mit Toilette und Dusche ist nach oben zur Diele hin offen! Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir den Wohnungsschlüssel persönlich ausgehändigt. Die Haustür ist mit einem Code zugänglich.

  Pani Basia jest właścicielką mieszkania. Jest osobą bardzo sympatyczną i kontaktową. Co do mieszkania to jest ono wyjątkowe, pięknie urządzone. Okolica spokojna, blisko starówki.

  Bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka, p. Basia to wyjątkowa osoba. Wystrój apartamentu nietuzinkowy i posiadający swój smaczek. Okna wychodzą na dziedziniec i zapewniają piękny widok na horyzont, wschód słońca i ciszę w nocy, pomimo położenia kamienicy na Starym Rynku. Jestem pewna, że tam wrócę. Serdecznie polecam👍👍👍
