The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this warm, sophisticated vibe that doesn’t feel stuffy or pretentious. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing too, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re tired from traveling.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail the details that actually matter. The rooms have this lived-in luxury feel – I mean, the linens are genuinely good quality (not that scratchy hotel cotton you sometimes get), and the lighting actually works for both reading and getting ready. The bathrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping your elbows every time you brush your teeth. And here’s something I always notice but rarely mention – the soundproofing is solid. You’re not hearing your neighbors’ TV or conversations through the walls, which can make or break a stay if you ask me.

The service level really reflects that 8.8 rating they’ve earned. It’s not the kind of place where they’re hovering over you constantly, but when you need something, they’re on it. I had a small issue with the air conditioning (nothing major, just needed some adjustment), and maintenance was up within fifteen minutes. The front desk staff actually remembers your name after the first interaction, which sounds small but feels pretty great when you’re staying somewhere for several days. Breakfast runs until a reasonable hour too – none of this “kitchen closes at 9 AM sharp” nonsense that some hotels pull. You can tell they’ve thought through the guest experience from someone who’s actually traveled, not just from a corporate manual. It’s the kind of place where you’d feel comfortable bringing your parents for a visit, but you’d also be happy staying there for a work trip.
