There’s this amazing pierogi place about three blocks away that I never would have found if I’d been staying in the touristy areas, and the morning walks along the Vistula are honestly some of my favorite memories from the trip. The neighborhood has that lived-in feeling where you see actual Warsaw residents going about their daily lives, buying groceries, walking dogs, arguing about football – it’s real in a way that the polished Old Town sometimes isn’t. Plus, parking here is actually manageable if you’re driving, which is basically a miracle in any European capital. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you spend a few days there – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but everything works exactly as it should, the staff knows what they’re doing, and you wake up feeling like you’re experiencing Warsaw rather than just visiting it. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore more of the Praga district or catch a match at the stadium.
