You’re close enough to Old Town that it’s an easy walk when the weather’s nice, but you’re not dealing with the crowds and inflated prices right outside your door. There’s a great milk bar around the corner – Bar Mleczny Pod Barbakanem – where you can get pierogi for basically nothing, and the staff pointed me toward a proper bookstore where I found some English novels when it was too rainy to explore.

Honestly, with a 9.0 rating, I was expecting maybe some hype, but this place delivers. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Warsaw, and that’s exactly why it works. The service feels genuine rather than scripted, the rooms are comfortable without being flashy, and you get the sense that they actually want you to enjoy the city rather than just stay locked in the hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a really good home base rather than just a place to crash, the Warsaw Plaza nails that balance perfectly.
