Honestly, when I first saw the name “Warsaw Premium Apartments CASTLE OLD TOWN,” I rolled my eyes a bit – you know how these places love to throw around fancy words. But actually staying here? It’s pretty much exactly what it promises, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. You’re literally on plac Zamkowy, which means the Royal Castle is right there when you step outside – I mean, you can practically touch it. The Old Town square is maybe a three-minute walk, and here’s something locals know: you’re positioned perfectly to duck into Zapiecek for pierogi without dealing with the tourist crowds that gather closer to the main square. The building itself has that solid, pre-war Warsaw feel (well, reconstructed post-war, but you get the idea), and while it’s definitely not luxury, the apartments are clean and surprisingly spacious for European standards.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being smack in the middle of everything. The windows are decent quality – you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me awake. The apartment I stayed in had a proper kitchenette, which was clutch for making morning coffee and storing leftovers from those massive Polish portions. Check-in was straightforward, though they do that European thing where you need to coordinate your arrival time in advance. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town Warsaw, so forget about it unless you want to pay through the nose. But honestly, you don’t need a car here anyway – trams run right down Krakowskie Przedmieście, and you can walk to most of the stuff you’ll want to see.

The 8.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect (the WiFi was a bit spotty in the evenings, and don’t expect luxury toiletries), but for the price point and location, it’s solid. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and the value was excellent. Summer might be a different story with prices, but if you can snag it then, you’re golden. One thing that surprised me was how helpful the staff was with restaurant recommendations – they steered me toward some great spots on Freta Street that I never would have found otherwise. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel, which I actually prefer when I’m somewhere for more than a couple nights. You’re close enough to everything that matters but just far enough from the main tourist drag that you feel like you’re getting a taste of actual Warsaw life.

  Everything was great! We spent 4 days in this amazing location and it was only pleasure. All the places we wanted to visit were easily accessable, dining in old town just in the corner.
  
  Well equipped, even we only used to eat breakfast in the appartment. Toaster would have been great, seems so basic everywhere, otherways very nice appartment with best location!
  
  What could be improved: Towels smelled bit chemical, as we are used to washing liquit without any scent at all.

  What could be improved: The downside is the noise, despite the thick glazing. Until 23-24 in the evening the square is packed with people. But the flat itself is perfect and as mentioned, the location fantastic.

  The location of the apartment is great! It is very pleasant to walk in the old town of Warsaw. Good places to eat nearby. The apartment is in light colors and clean. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Communication with the host was fast, we got answers to questions quickly.

  Great location, overlooking Castle Square and close to places of interest and restaurants.
  Plenty of space in apartment, lots of storage.
  The hosts were flexible with check in and check out times.
  It was winter but was nice and warm in the apartment.
