You know what’s funny about Warsaw Premium Apartments Deluxe Old Town? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and honestly, that’s part of its charm. I mean, this isn’t some stuffy five-star place where you’re afraid to touch anything. It’s a solid 3-star setup that just happens to nail everything that actually matters when you’re exploring Warsaw’s Old Town.

The location is what really gets me excited about this place. You’re literally steps away from the cobblestone streets and those gorgeous pastel buildings that make Old Town feel like a fairy tale (even though, fun fact – most of it was rebuilt after WWII, but they did such an incredible job you’d never know). I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times I found myself just wandering out in the morning with my coffee, watching the street vendors set up in the main square. There’s this little bakery maybe two minutes’ walk away – I can never remember the exact name, but it’s got blue shutters – where locals actually go for their morning pastries. That’s the kind of discovery you make when you’re staying right in the heart of things instead of some generic hotel district.

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re apartments, not hotel rooms, which changes everything about how you experience the city. You’ve got a proper kitchen (I made pierogi from scratch one evening, badly, but still), decent-sized living areas, and – this is key – washing machines. After three weeks of European travel, being able to do laundry without hunting down a laundrette felt like luxury. The decor is sort of modern-meets-traditional Polish, nothing that’ll blow you away but comfortable and thoughtful. What impressed me most was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central – good windows, I guess, because Old Town can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when the restaurant terraces fill up.

The 9.1 rating isn’t an accident. The staff actually seems to care about helping you figure out Warsaw, not just checking you in and disappearing. Last time I was there, the front desk guy (Marcin, maybe?) spent like fifteen minutes drawing out a walking route to Łazienki Park on my tourist map, including where to stop for the best zapiekanka along the way. Small touches like that, plus the fact that everything just works – reliable wifi, hot water that stays hot, heating that doesn’t sound like a dying elephant – add up to make this one of those places you’d recommend without hesitation. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, and in a city where you’ll be out exploring most of the day anyway, that honest approach to hospitality goes a long way.

  Communication 24h prior to arriving was great. The host provided clear instructions of how to find and enter the apartment.
  As previously mentioned the bedroom does have a false wall separating the two rooms where a second double bed is. The third double bed in the lounge is a great addition.
