Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of five-star places in Warsaw, and honestly? The Presidential Hotel gets it right in ways that surprised me. When you first walk in, there’s this understated elegance that doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard – you know what I mean? The lobby has this warm, sophisticated vibe without being stuffy, and the staff actually remembers your name after day one (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen everywhere).

What really struck me was how they handle the details. The rooms are genuinely spacious – not that fake spacious you get with clever mirrors and tiny furniture. I mean, I could actually unpack my entire suitcase and still move around comfortably. The beds are fantastic, by the way. I’m usually a light sleeper, but the soundproofing here is excellent. Even though you’re right in the heart of the city, you won’t hear the late-night trams or early morning delivery trucks that plague some of the other central hotels. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – marble everything, but the kind that feels luxurious rather than cold. They’ve got those rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure, which honestly makes all the difference after a long day walking around the Old Town.

Here’s the thing about location – and this is where local knowledge matters – you’re perfectly positioned between the business district and the historic center. It’s maybe a fifteen-minute walk to Castle Square if you want to do the tourist thing, but you’re also close enough to Złota Street that you can grab dinner at some of the city’s best restaurants without needing a taxi. The hotel restaurant itself is actually worth eating at (which isn’t always a given), especially for breakfast. They do this incredible selection of Polish specialties alongside the usual international stuff, and their coffee program is surprisingly sophisticated. I ended up having breakfast there every morning, which I rarely do at hotels.

The service level feels genuine rather than rehearsed – staff members offer real recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. When I mentioned I was interested in contemporary art, the concierge directed me to some smaller galleries I never would have found otherwise. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference. Parking situation is handled well too, with valet service that’s efficient without being pushy. Check-in was smooth even though I arrived early, and they had my room ready ahead of schedule.

Is it perfect? Well, the fitness center could use some updating – it’s adequate but not spectacular for a hotel at this level. And if you’re looking for that ultra-modern, cutting-edge design aesthetic, this might feel a bit traditional for your taste. But honestly, that’s part of its charm. It feels like a proper hotel where attention goes to comfort and service rather than flashy gimmicks. At an 8.6 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after staying there myself, I can see why people return. It’s the kind of place that handles both business trips and weekend getaways equally well.

  Location is the best ever & the greatest staff ever they are very professional and friendly.. plus the security in the hotel is also perfect.. the view is amazing spicaly in the corner suit.

  Excellent stay in one of the Executive Rooms. Comfortable, spacious, a great view at the Stalin's Palace (Palace of Culture and Science). The receptionist went over and above to give me a room with the desired view. The room facilities were good; iron board, iron, hair dryer, big TV with a wide selection of TV programmes (including european). Good amenities in the bathroom. Good quality towels & bed linen.
  
  As part of my stay, I also enjoyed the Club lounge access. Excellent selection of food and drinks, exceptional service. Highly recommendable.

  Excellent location. Shopping mall close by. We had access to m club lounge which was great. Nice restaurant at the top floor and nice to have a casino in house.
