I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Warsaw Story – LoftAffair Collection,” I was expecting some generic boutique hotel trying too hard to be trendy. But walking into this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this industrial-chic vibe that feels authentic rather than forced, you know? Like someone actually thought about how to make exposed brick and steel beams feel warm instead of cold. The lobby has this great smell – not that overpowering hotel perfume, but something subtle that reminds me of good coffee and old books.

What really got me was how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between design hotel coolness and actual comfort. The lofts (and yeah, they’re proper lofts, not just rooms with high ceilings) have these huge windows that flood everything with light during the day. I mean, Warsaw can be pretty gray sometimes, so having that brightness makes a real difference. The beds are seriously comfortable – I’m talking sink-into-it-and-forget-your-troubles comfortable. And honestly, the kitchenettes aren’t just for show; they’re actually equipped well enough that you could make a decent meal if you wanted to skip the restaurant scene for a night. Which would be a shame though, because Warsaw’s food scene is absolutely incredible right now.

The staff here gets it – they’re helpful without being hovering, if that makes sense. During check-in, the front desk person gave me these insider tips about which trams to take and mentioned this little milk bar that’s apparently been running since the 1960s (definitely worth the detour). You can tell they actually live in the city and aren’t just reciting from some corporate script. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s one of those places that delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. Sure, you might hear some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper – it’s Warsaw, not a countryside retreat – but the windows are solid enough that it never bothered me. Actually, I sort of liked hearing the city humming below; it reminded me I was right in the middle of everything. The whole experience feels thoughtfully curated rather than cookie-cutter, and in a city where you’ve got everything from Soviet-era concrete blocks to glass towers going up everywhere, that attention to character really stands out. If you’re the type who appreciates good design but doesn’t want to sacrifice comfort for style, this place hits the mark.

  Space is very well used. We really loved that it has 2 bedrooms, even though they are very small. Apartment has 2 bathrooms which is also very nice.
  The location is very central, near many attractions and has a lot of restaurants near by.

  Great location, in the very center of the Warsaw Old Town. The room is small, for fans of minimalism, but includes everything you need for a comfortable stay for several days: coffee machine, kettle, electric stove, oven, refrigerator. There is no sink in the kitchen (in other rooms, larger ones, there is a sink in the kitchen).

  Clean and modern room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Washing machine has a quick 30 minute option. Entry/access is through a door code and is easy. Close walk to the old town and bus stops to other parts of the city.
