You know what caught me off guard about Wileńska Express Apartment? That 9.1 rating actually makes perfect sense once you spend a night there. I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly – they’re doing something right that a lot of fancier hotels completely miss.

The thing is, this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s more like staying in a well-thought-out apartment that someone actually lives in, if that makes sense. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate feeling of “oh, I can actually relax here” instead of that sterile hotel vibe where you’re afraid to touch anything. The kitchen isn’t just for show either – I actually used it to make coffee in the morning (decent coffee maker, by the way), and there’s real counter space to spread out your stuff. The living area has this comfortable couch that’s perfect for planning your day or just decompressing after walking around the city all afternoon.

What really sold me was the attention to small details that most places completely overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space – not just “technically available” but genuinely fast enough to video call home without wanting to throw your phone across the room. The shower has proper water pressure (honestly, why is this so rare?), and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually block light, which was a godsend since I’m one of those people who needs complete darkness to sleep properly. The neighborhood itself has this authentic local feel – you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it settles down nicely in the evenings. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels connected to the actual city instead of isolated in some tourist bubble.

I’ll be honest though, don’t expect a concierge desk or room service – this is more about having a genuine base where you can live normally while exploring. But that’s exactly why it works so well. You get way more space than a typical hotel room for probably less money, plus that rare feeling of staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it was designed by committee. The check-in was straightforward (they actually answered their phone when I had a question), and I appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Sometimes the best travel experiences happen when places just focus on doing the basics really, really well instead of trying to be everything to everyone.

  the apartment was in an excellent location. Lidl 10m, Shopping Center 300m, Metro 400m, bakery and barbershop are in the same building. Nothing bad to say. Apartment was clean and the balcony was just perfect. 10 points from me.

  Atrašanās vieta ideāla!Klusa apkārtne, veikali : Lidl, Žabka, Correful , turpat blakus 50m radiusā. Mašīnu vienmēr var nolikt , ir vieta. No rīta var ar suni pastaigāt, ļoti viss patika!!

  Lokalizacja – wszystko pod ręką – Lidl, kawiarnia, tramwaj, Metro, itd… Jeśli przyjeżdża się samochodem, najlepiej na czas rozładunku/załadunku zatrzymać się na parkingu Lidl-a a potem poszukać parkingu ( po drugiej stronie torów kolejowych jest parking strzeżony społecznie, 20 PLN za dobę, trudno o lepszą cenę i miejscówkę, jakieś 750 metrów)

  Apartament czysty, prawie wszystko co niezbędne było – mały minusik za brak ociekacza do naczyń.
  Blisko obiektu sklepy Lidl, żabka, piekarnia, mięsny Gzela. Przy wyjściu z budynku zieleń, ławki, leżaki. Trochę daleko do starego miasta, ale dla nas nie było to przeszkodą, gdyż lubimy wędrówki 🙂. W pobliżu przystanek tramwajowy, autobusowy.
