Hotel Description

You know what surprised me about Willa Pirs? For a 3-star place tucked away in Ursus, it honestly punches way above its weight. I mean, when I first saw the address on Regulska Street, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical – Ursus isn’t exactly the postcard part of Warsaw that most tourists think about. But here’s the thing locals know: this district has really come into its own over the past few years, and staying here actually gives you a much more authentic feel for how real Varsovians live. The hotel itself sits in this quiet residential pocket where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of constant traffic, which was such a nice change from the city center chaos.

The staff at Willa Pirs clearly get that they’re not running some fancy chain hotel, and honestly, that works in their favor. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no pretentious lobby theatrics, just genuine people who seemed to actually care about making sure I knew where the good pierogi place was down the street (Pro tip: it’s called Bar Mleczny Ursus, about a 5-minute walk, and their żurek will ruin you for anywhere else). The rooms have this clean, unfussy vibe that I really appreciated after staying in some overly designed places that prioritize Instagram-ability over actual comfort. My room faced the courtyard, so it stayed pretty quiet even during the day, though I could hear the occasional tram rumbling by on the main road – not annoying, just that gentle urban white noise that reminds you you’re in a living city.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how it felt like I’d stumbled onto something that hadn’t been completely discovered yet. The breakfast room has these big windows that catch the morning light perfectly, and there’s usually this mix of business travelers and families that gives it a nice, unstudgy atmosphere. I ended up chatting with this Polish businessman who told me about the walking path along the nearby Vistula tributary that most guidebooks completely miss – turns out it’s gorgeous in the early evening. The location might seem off the beaten path, but you’re actually only about 20 minutes by tram to the Old Town, and there’s something satisfying about returning to this quieter corner after a day of tourist madness. Plus, parking here is actually possible (and free!), which anyone who’s tried to drive in central Warsaw will tell you is basically a miracle. The whole experience felt genuine in a way that’s getting harder to find – like staying with that friend who lives in the neighborhood and knows all the good spots but doesn’t feel the need to oversell them.

  • Good stay for two nights – Daniel from Czech Republic – April 14, 2025 (8/10)

Parking just in front of the hotel
    Breakfast was very good
    Clean room
    Restaurant quality 👍🏼
Train station 10’ of walk (so you don’t need to looking for parking in the city)

What could be improved: Some very loud noise in the morning (second night was ok)
We got only one towel per person (anything for hands)
Slightly bigger blanket for two persons would be much more comfortable – but we managed 🙂
    Strange check in

  • Clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff – Viktor from Ukraine – December 6, 2024 (9/10)

    Clean, warm and comfortable rooms
    Friendly staff
    Tasty breakfast

What could be improved: No plastic bags in trash bins
    No shampoo, only soap
No nightstand for the third bed

  • Exceptional – Daniel from Slovakia – November 30, 2024 (10/10)

Great accommodation for the short stay when you need to rest before or after the flight, no long distance, safe free parking. Rooms looks very nice, newly refurbished, breakfast room looks even better. Breakfast limited offer, but all what you need and very delicious. Don't be taken aback by the appearance of the building which does not look interesting. I would rate general overview 10/10. I spend about 50 nights in 4* hotels a year, this is definitely one of the best experiences (value for money). For sure will come back.

What could be improved: Please renovate reception, it was the most weakness point of whole stay. 😉

  • Excellent – Jurita from Lithuania – November 10, 2024 (10/10)

Breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable rooms and very clear . I will recommend this place for our friends.
