You know what really surprised me about Wola Skwer Sunny Apartment? It actually lives up to its name – the place is genuinely flooded with light throughout the day. I mean, when you’re booking apartments online, you never really know if “sunny” is just marketing speak, but this one delivers. The location on św. Stanisława puts you right in the heart of Wola, which honestly has become one of my favorite districts in Warsaw over the past few years. It’s got this perfect balance where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos around the Old Town. The building itself has that solid, pre-war feel – thick walls that actually keep the street noise down, which is something you’ll appreciate if you’ve ever tried sleeping near Marszałkowska at night.

What I really love about staying here is how it gives you this authentic Warsaw experience without feeling like you’re roughing it. The apartment is properly equipped (and I mean actually equipped, not just a hot plate and some mismatched dishes), and the 4-star rating feels honest – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without trying to be fancy. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality that I find way more interesting than staying in some sterile hotel district. There’s a great little bakery just around the corner that locals actually use, and you’re walking distance to some excellent restaurants that haven’t made it onto every tourist blog yet. Plus – and this matters more than people think – parking isn’t a complete nightmare here like it is in some parts of the city center.

The 8.4 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and the space is genuinely pleasant, it’s not trying to be something it’s not. Check-in was straightforward, the wifi actually works for video calls (tested it multiple times), and the shower has proper water pressure. I stayed here during one of those gray Warsaw Novembers, and honestly, coming back to all that natural light each evening made a real difference. The area gets pretty quiet after business hours, which some people love and others might find a bit sleepy – depends what you’re looking for, I guess. But if you want to experience Warsaw like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through, this spot gives you that feeling. It’s the kind of place where you end up having casual conversations with neighbors in the hallway and discovering that little café three blocks over that becomes your morning routine.

  everything was ok, there was everything for leaving on the kitchen and at the bathroom, there was Youtube and Netflix on the TV

  What could be improved: The apartment was not cleaned at all.
  – There was dirty, smelly dishes in the dishwasher. There were no dishwasher tablets anywhere. Luckily, there is a store nearby where they can be purchased.
  – The floors were also dirty, nothing was vacuumed, there were crumbs from bread and other dirt on the floor.
  – The drain in the shower cabin was not draining water because it was clogged with hair and other impurities, which we then cleaned ourselves.

  Ogólnie apartament przyjemny, ładna łazienka, dobra lokalizacja. Czysta pościel i ręczniki. Pozytywem jest dostęp do zmywarki i pralko-suszarki. Idealne miejsce do pracy zdalnej.
  
  What could be improved: Niestety ale apartament wymaga już odświeżenia. Pościel i ręczniki bez zarzutu, ale naakrycia wierzchnie i poduszki były po prostu brudne 🙁 Widać to an pierwszy rzut oka, w drugim pokoju były ciemniejsze , może nie było widać ale nieprzyjemny zapach w pokoju potwierdził, ze źródłem są poduszki i nakrycia wierzchnie.

  Świetna lokalizacja, klimatyzacja, parking podziemny, miły i kompetentny gospodarz. Na powitanie czekały słodycze, woda mineralna, soki, kawa rozpuszczalna i herbata. Ogólnie bardzo dobry standard.
