But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The location is what sold me initially, and I mean, when you’re literally a stone’s throw from Łazienki Park and Plac Zbawiciela, you’ve pretty much won the Warsaw accommodation lottery. I spent most mornings walking through the park before the tourist crowds hit (seriously, go early – around 7 AM the peacocks are still strutting around and you’ll have those tree-lined paths mostly to yourself).

What I really appreciated was how the apartment felt like someone actually lives there, not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down. The kitchen had proper coffee – and I’m talking about real coffee beans, not those sad instant packets you usually get. Plac Zbawiciela is right there, which means you’re in the heart of one of Warsaw’s coolest neighborhoods without even trying. There’s this amazing buzz in the evenings when locals are heading to dinner or drinks, but it never got obnoxiously loud in the apartment itself. The windows face the right direction for that, I think. During the day, you can actually hear the sounds from the park filtering through – kids playing, street musicians sometimes – it’s oddly soothing rather than distracting.

The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there a few days. It’s those little details that add up, like having enough electrical outlets (why is this so rare?), proper hangers in the closet, and a shower with decent water pressure. I mean, for a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight. The neighborhood itself is perfect for actually experiencing Warsaw rather than just seeing it – there are these small cafes tucked into side streets that you’d never find unless you were wandering around like a local. And honestly, being able to cut through Łazienki Park to get to the city center beats taking the metro any day, especially in spring when everything’s blooming. Just bring comfortable walking shoes and maybe download a decent map app, because some of the street signs around there can be… well, let’s just say they assume you know where you’re going already.
