You know what? When I first pulled up to Zatrasie, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. I mean, the name doesn’t exactly roll off your tongue, and from the outside it looked pretty understated – sort of blends into the neighborhood in that way some Eastern European hotels do. But here’s the thing that got me: within about ten minutes of being there, I could tell this place just… works. The lobby had this lived-in warmth to it, not fancy but genuinely comfortable, and the woman at reception actually remembered my name when I came back later that evening. That doesn’t happen often these days.

What really surprised me was how well they’ve figured out the small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The WiFi was fast (I was working remotely, so this was crucial), the shower had proper water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the pillows were actually good. Like, I-slept-through-the-night-without-neck-pain good. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out, and there’s enough desk space if you need to spread out with your laptop. I stayed on the third floor and it was pretty quiet, even though you can hear some street noise during the day. Nothing that would keep you awake though. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work too – everything felt genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy.

Honestly, that 9.2 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does, it does really well. The breakfast was better than expected – nothing fancy, but fresh bread, decent coffee, and they had these local pastries that I ended up looking forward to each morning. Check-in was smooth, parking was straightforward (and free, which is rare), and when my flight got delayed and I needed to extend my stay, they handled it without any drama. I think what I appreciated most was that it felt like staying somewhere that locals might actually recommend to their visiting relatives – unpretentious but reliable. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a place where you can actually relax and everything just works the way it should, Zatrasie delivers on that promise completely.

  Невелика, але дуже комфортна квартира для одного або двух гостей. Є абсолютно все необхідне. Поруч продуктовий магазин. Тихий район.
  Недалеко зупинка трамваю. До великого ТРЦ 20 хвилин пішки або трамвай. До центру 15 хвилин на таксі або трошки довше трамваєм.
