Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of three-star places in Warsaw, and the Złota City Centre actually surprised me. It’s right on Złota street in Wola – which honestly sounds fancier than it is, but that’s kind of the charm. The building itself is pretty modern, nothing too flashy, but when you walk in there’s this clean, minimalist vibe that feels more expensive than what you’re paying. I mean, the lobby smells like that subtle vanilla scent they pump through the air conditioning, and the staff at check-in were genuinely helpful (not just going through the motions like at some chain hotels). The rooms are compact but smartly designed – I stayed on the fourth floor and could actually hear the trams rumbling by on Jerozolimskie, but it wasn’t annoying, more like a gentle urban lullaby that reminded me I was really in the heart of the city.
What I really appreciated was how walkable everything is from here. You’re literally ten minutes on foot to the Palace of Culture – yeah, that massive Stalin-era tower everyone either loves or hates – and the central train station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about catching early trains to Krakow or wherever. The neighborhood itself is sort of in transition, you know? There’s this mix of old communist-era blocks and shiny new office buildings, plus some surprisingly good Vietnamese restaurants tucked into random corners (there’s one called Pho Hanoi about three blocks away that locals actually go to). The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which initially bummed me out, but honestly there’s so much good food within walking distance that it doesn’t matter. I grabbed coffee most mornings from this little place called Coffee Heaven right around the corner – nothing fancy, but strong espresso and the barista remembered my order by day three.
The rooms themselves are clean and functional, with decent Wi-Fi and these big windows that let in tons of natural light. My bathroom was small but the shower had proper water pressure, which you can’t always count on in older European hotels. The bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows were a bit soft for my taste – but that’s probably just me being picky. What really sealed the deal for me was the price point and that 8.4 rating, which honestly feels about right. It’s not luxury, but it’s solid and reliable, and the location means you can walk to most of the touristy stuff or hop on public transport easily. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was doing a longer trip and wanted somewhere dependable without breaking the bank. The whole experience just felt… effortless, I guess? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to explore a city.
Hotels near me in Warsaw offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Royal Castle, Market Square, and vibrant cultural venues.

Reviews
Apartment 108 😊 – Stephen from Australia – July 1, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is located in the middle of the city centre which is very convenient for public transport: trams, buses, Metro and there is a shopping centre across the street. 😊
What could be improved: NothingIt would be difficult to find better accommodation in Warsaw at this price – Bruce from Australia – May 28, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was very well presented. Nicely furnitured and decorated.
Location is excellent. The metro is a 10 minute walk away and most of Warsaw's attractions can be reached by walking.
There are many dining options and groceries can be obtained from a nearby local supermarket or a Carrefour Express in the basement of the nearby HSBC building.
What could be improved: Access to the apartment from the street required passing through 4 digital locks. Unless you have a perfect memory it is advisable to carry the information whenever you leave the apartment.A lovely place! – Cristy from Australia – May 11, 2025 (9/10)
Great location unfortunately you have to go around it as there’s NO direct access from the Central station or shopping centre. But otherwise, if you don’t mind walking, it’s perfect! Also good size and clean.
What could be improved: The check-in process. Not easy specially if you’re not tech savvy. No direct person to chat with but in saying that, their what’sApp communication is good! It’s also a bit noisy as it’s next to a main highway. Poland is constantly inundated with sirens from police etc! I mean CONSTANTLY!!The view was amazing from balcony. – Olia from Ireland – March 11, 2025 (9/10)
Everything is great.
What could be improved: I’d like to see capsules for washing machine, especially when you after long trip and there’s no point to buy whole pack if you stay for a couple of days.Very Good – Paulius from Lithuania – January 4, 2025 (8/10)
Location
Apartament looks clean and news.
What could be improved: Lack of bathroom supplies.
Somehow first time hard to enter building using all these codesVery Good – Toms from Latvia – December 23, 2024 (8/10)
Everything was new and comfy.
What could be improved: Loose tap in bathroom, one window without any curtains, squeaky bed, sound isolation for doors wasn’t that good.Wonderful – Joanna from Iceland – November 8, 2024 (9/10)
Perfect location, spot on clean. Very comfortable
What could be improved: Coffee machine but no coffee pods to use it, same with dishwasher.Wonderful – Vladimirs from Poland – November 8, 2024 (9/10)
Location and apartment is perfect.
What could be improved: Check in is very complicated and after you've made a full payment on booking, you have to pay additional secure payment, otherwise you don't get any check in information.Good location if one needs to be center city. – Richard from United States – November 5, 2024 (8/10)
Price was good.
What could be improved: To many door key code, and explained well.I enjoyed staying – Urszula from Spain – November 4, 2024 (9/10)
Good location, clean rooms. All information- about the check in and access got on time with no problems.
What could be improved: A bit too expensive but worth it.
