Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest with you – Żoliborz Comfort Studio isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s actually a pretty solid choice if you want to stay somewhere that feels more like Warsaw and less like generic tourist central. The location on Zajączka street is really what makes this place work. You’re right in the heart of Żoliborz, which honestly is one of those neighborhoods that most visitors completely miss, and that’s kind of their loss. It’s got this laid-back, residential vibe where you’ll see actual Varsovians walking their dogs and grabbing coffee at corner spots that have been there forever. The studio itself is… well, it’s a studio, so don’t expect tons of space, but everything you need is there and it’s clean. I mean, the bathroom’s tiny (like, really tiny), but the shower pressure is surprisingly good, and you know what? Sometimes that’s all that matters after a long day of walking around the city.

What I really like about staying here is that you’re close enough to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos of the Old Town or the business district. Żoliborz has this tree-lined, almost village-y feel that’s pretty rare in a capital city – you can actually walk to the Vistula riverbank in about ten minutes, and there’s this great little path along the water where locals jog and cycle. The tram connections are actually really convenient (there’s a stop just a few minutes away), and you can get to the center in maybe 15-20 minutes without dealing with the nightmare that is Warsaw traffic. Parking can be a bit tricky in the neighborhood – it’s mostly street parking and the locals definitely know all the good spots – but the hotel staff were pretty helpful with suggestions when I asked.

The room itself has that IKEA-meets-budget-hotel aesthetic that you’d expect from a 3-star place, but honestly, it works. The bed was comfortable enough, though the walls are a bit thin so you might hear your neighbors if they’re having a loud phone conversation (learned that the hard way). Check-in was smooth, and the front desk person spoke solid English, which isn’t always a given in this part of the city. One thing that surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – Żoliborz isn’t exactly party central, so if you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll need to head elsewhere. But if you want to experience Warsaw like someone who actually lives here, grab some pierogi from the little place around the corner, maybe explore Krasinski Park (it’s a short walk), and just soak up the neighborhood atmosphere, this spot does the job perfectly well. For the price point and the authentic Warsaw experience, I’d honestly stay here again.

Reviews

  • the apartment on its own was comfy but we for sure wont be coming back – Julia from Poland – May 20, 2024 (5/10)

it was a clean, and comfort apartment, well equipped

What could be improved: we had trouble with keys, the wicket, and there was alot of bugs on the properties backyard and yet there were no bug net on the window wich resulted in us not being able to open the window after 18. We waited on the bookings phone line for almost 40 minutes just to find out we should have 3 keys, therefore we had only one, and no one knew why, we also never got the keys even after reporting that we dont have them. The guy from phone line said hes gonna check why that is and what can be done, but he never called back and we had to call again and explain the whole situation once more to another person. On the first day when we tried to get to the apartament the wicked wouldnt open and we werent given keys to be able to go through front door. It was a 11 PM and if not for the lovely lady who let us in we would have to stay outside until the wicket decided to work again. In the morning the next day we had to stay in till 2PM because no one on the phone line knew how to help us with the wicked which turned out to be working just fine when a guy came to check on it and no one know why it wouldnt open the night before.

  • Exceptional – Marcin from Poland – September 28, 2023 (10/10)

Perfect location, close to Old Town and downtown. Really nice and peaceful place and very quiet. Easy and smooth reception. Most importantly – extraordinary clean place! I will certainly be back!

What could be improved: Nothing – everything was perfect!

  • Fair – Вікторія from Germany – February 24, 2025 (5/10)

The flat is light and it was pretty clean

What could be improved: It is cold inside and there is a lot of mold in the bathroom and some near the windows.
Also we had no internet connection. The hotline was kind trying to fix the problem, because there is a working modem in the flat, but there was no connection. Unfortunately the problem wasn’t solved. We were offered a refund for the internet, but after we sent a confirmation, they stopped responding.

  • DO NOT STAY HERE – Festivaltraveller from Poland – February 26, 2025 (2/10)

Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. There is no value for money that is worth this accommodation.

What could be improved: The accommodation was hard to find. There was no help offered except of the AI agent that was never forwarded to the person responsible, even if was not able to solve the problem. The internet does not work, has never worked and will never work as noone actually cares to do something about it. The curtains are too narrow to cover the windows. There is fungus in in the bathroom (plus falling off towel rack and an actual hole in the wall). Do yourself a favour – you are really WORTH staying in a better accommodation than this.

  • Pleasant – Anonymous from Belarus – June 7, 2025 (6/10)

    good location

What could be improved: The bed was broken and we had to sleep on the sofa. The handle of the front door was broken. It's very offensive that they take a deposit in case we break something, and the bed in the apartment is broken to such an extent that it's impossible to sleep on it.

  • Pleasant – Adriana from Poland – July 9, 2025 (6/10)

    Lokalizacja, zmywarka.

What could be improved: Bardzo śmierdzi w łazience z kanalizacji. Nie działało WiFi, po mojej drugiej wiadomości w tej sprawie już nie otrzymałam kolejnej.

  • Dobra lokalizacja, czysto i przestronnie. – Andrzej from Poland – June 12, 2025 (8/10)

Ładna lokalizacja, dużo zieleni, ładny widok z okna.

What could be improved: Przydała by się mikrofala.

  • Udany pobyt. – Aleksandra from Poland – June 4, 2025 (8/10)

    Przytulne mieszkanko

What could be improved: Brak internetu przez cały czas pobytu, dziura w ścianie po kratce wentylacyjnej.

  • bardzo czysto i przytulnie – Domaszk from Poland – May 13, 2025 (8/10)

    wygodne łóżko, czysto

What could be improved: brak internetu

  • Very Good – Karolina from Poland – April 3, 2025 (8/10)

Świetna lokalizacja, piękny dziedziniec – tym bardziej wiosną. Bardzo łatwy proces zameldowania, świetny kontakt z obsługą. Czysto, wygodne łóżko, przyjemna pościel. Pakiet środków czystości na start. Słonecznie. W razie potrzeby – kaloryfery dobrze grzeją. Mieszkanie ma wszystko, czego potrzeba. Byłam tam rok temu, wróciłam ponownie, chętnie wrócę jeszcze kiedyś.

What could be improved: Nie miałam cierpliwości, by podłączyć się do internetu i tv, ale nawet nie dawałam nikomu znać, może coś źle wpisywałam. Czasami wydobywał się kiepski zapach z kanalizacji. A, i schody! Zapomniałam, że to ostatnie piętro i trzeba wnieść walizkę na samą górę 🙂
