Hotel Description

You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from a place called “Amazing Art Loft” – honestly, the name sounds a bit over the top – but this little spot on Koszykowa actually surprised me. It’s tucked away in Ochota, which I’ll admit isn’t the most glamorous district in Warsaw, but that’s kind of the point. You’re getting way more space for your money here than you would closer to the Old Town, and the free parking situation is genuinely clutch if you’re driving around Poland. I mean, finding a decent parking spot in central Warsaw can cost you more than a meal, so having that sorted is huge. The building itself has this converted industrial vibe – you can tell it used to be something else entirely, maybe offices or workshops, but they’ve done a pretty decent job turning it into accommodation.

The room I stayed in definitely lived up to the “loft” part of the name. High ceilings, exposed brick in places, and these big windows that let in tons of natural light during the day. The art they’ve hung around isn’t museum-quality or anything, but it’s not the generic hotel prints you usually get either – looks like they actually put some thought into it. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, which honestly caught me off guard since Koszykowa can get pretty busy during rush hour. The soundproofing is better than you’d expect for a 3-star place. Now, the neighborhood isn’t exactly buzzing with nightlife – you’re looking at about a 15-minute tram ride to get to the happening parts of the city – but there’s a solid grocery store literally around the corner, and this little pierogi place two blocks down that locals actually go to.

Check-in was straightforward enough, though the reception area is pretty minimal – don’t expect a grand lobby or anything fancy. The staff spoke decent English and were helpful when I needed directions to the nearest Metro station (it’s Politechnika, about a 10-minute walk). I will say the Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast, which matters if you’re trying to get work done, and the kitchenette setup in the room was actually functional – not just for show like in some places. The shower pressure was good, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped compared to the generous main room. Overall, it’s one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises without any major surprises, good or bad. For the price point and the parking situation, I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I was planning to explore more of Warsaw beyond just the tourist center.

Reviews

  • Good – Michael from Denmark – October 12, 2023 (7/10)

    Interesting interior design

What could be improved: There was no coffee
The handles for operating the shower were broken and kept falling off

  • Overall good but wouldnt reccomend with children – Margarita from Lithuania – July 4, 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: There was a bad smell of oldness, and also was too warm and only one small window to open, although there was a compatible air conditioner. A sink in the bathroom didnt work well

  • Exceptional – Mathilde from Poland – December 15, 2024 (10/10)

The location is perfect, close to everything you want to visit. It wasn’t cold at all and we can be 8 in one apartment. It is great for big families or friends that want to visit Warsaw.

  • Fair – Kamil from United States – July 5, 2025 (5/10)

The location was great, the price was good, the parking was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.

What could be improved: The room had a damp smell to it whenever you entered, none of the outlets or lights worked on the "2nd floor" upper area, and the bed comfort quality was okay. The room is located next to a dance studio or hall of some sort so it wasn't ideal when we came back tired from a day of sightseeing to a bunch of music and noise from next door that went on for about 2 hours or so. We left for dinner and some grocery shopping so we wouldn't have to listen to the noise next door.

  • Good location, but disappointing overall – Thomas from United Kingdom – June 18, 2025 (5/10)

Good location, in that it's central! Covers the basics. The hosts were friendly and very responsive to questions.

What could be improved: It was very difficult to get into the gated area on arrival. Either the code didn't work or we misunderstood something. Arrival instructions could probably be improved, with photos for example. After a while, one of us was able to tailgate a resident and retrieve the keys from the lockbox. The property is very run down, the bathroom light and the elecrtronics in general weren't very safe. The TV didn't work, etc. We survived the night, but I don't think we'd stay again.

  • BROKEN WINDOWS – Gooby from Italy – February 12, 2025 (3/10)

    The price was pretty cheap

What could be improved: The window was broken, making it incredibly cold inside, the owner said it couldn't be repaired, but to be honest I don't understand how that is possible/legal
One of the sofa beds was broken, and the state of the apartment was not the best overall.
It's not possible to rent in winter an apartment with a broken window that leaks air inside at -10°
I woke up with a sore throat, and the kaloryfer and the portable heater were nowhere near enough to provide a decent level of heating.
If you have these problems stick to renting in summer, where it would not be a problem

  • Für Kurzaufenthalte in Warschau, um die Stadt zu erkunden, gut geeignet. – Karoline from Germany – July 28, 2025 (8/10)

  • Very Good – Clémence from France – June 26, 2025 (8/10)

Le logement est propre, calme et bien conçu.
    Les explications étaient très claires.

  • Very Good – Markus from Austria – October 11, 2023 (8/10)

    Top Lage, nette Korrespondenz!

    What could be improved: Nichts

  • Polecam na nocleg przy szybkim 1-2 dniowym pobycie w Warszawie – Konradzajac54 from Poland – July 21, 2025 (8/10)

Blisko centrum, darmowy parking za bramą, przestronne wnętrze, wyposażony aneks kuchenny.

What could be improved: Mała, trochę stara łazienka
