Hotel Description

You know what really struck me about BOSA Warsaw Centrum on Grzybowska? It’s one of those places where someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep. I mean, when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two, you want to feel like you can spread out a bit – and honestly, these apartments nail that feeling. The building sits right in Wola, which I’ll admit wasn’t on my radar before visiting Warsaw, but it’s actually become one of the more interesting districts. You’re basically a ten-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (that massive Stalin-era tower you can’t miss), but you’re tucked away from the tourist chaos on a street that feels genuinely residential. There’s this great little bakery just around the corner on Chłodna that locals actually use, and I found myself grabbing coffee there most mornings instead of the hotel stuff.

The apartment itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel – which can be hit or miss depending on what you’re after, but I loved it. The kitchen actually works (shocking, I know), and there’s enough counter space to spread out groceries if you hit up the Żabka down the street or venture to the bigger Carrefour about fifteen minutes away. The living area has this lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. Big windows let in tons of light, though fair warning – Grzybowska can get a bit busy during rush hour, so there’s some street noise if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing. I actually found it kind of comforting after a few days, like the city’s heartbeat or whatever. The bed situation is solid – none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense that sometimes catches Americans off guard.

What really sold me on the place was how easy everything felt. Check-in was smooth (they actually answer their phones, which is more than I can say for some places), and the building has this modern but not sterile vibe. You’re close enough to walk to the old town if you’re feeling ambitious – maybe twenty-five minutes through some pretty interesting neighborhoods – but the tram connections are honestly better. The 22 line runs right down Grzybowska and connects you to basically everywhere you’d want to go. I ended up using it to get to Łazienki Park one afternoon, which was absolutely worth the trip. The area comes alive at night too, with some solid restaurants within walking distance. There’s this Vietnamese place called Pho Saigon just a few blocks away that became my go-to when I didn’t feel like cooking. Look, it’s not the fanciest spot in Warsaw, but it’s real and comfortable and the kind of place where you can actually relax instead of feeling like you’re performing being a tourist all the time.

-the beds are so comfortable, not had a good sleep like that in ages.
-the cot was ready for us too.
-duvet pillows soft and comfortable too. Bedding clean all around.
-basic things in bathroom too to use. Honestly it was a perfect stay, easy access, perfect communication. Just 11/10 for us!!! Will be returning.

  • Would happily stay there again – Victoria from United Kingdom – June 23, 2024 (10/10)

Very clean and well equipped, close to the shops, restaurants and central train station

  • Exceptional – Miranda from United Kingdom – October 27, 2023 (10/10)

The flat was clean, very well equipped, really felt there like at home. Very good communication with the owners.
Location perfect, with the large number of shops, restaurants, cafés within few minutes walk.
There is a possibility to park the car, just in front of the building and price for the car park is very good and reasonable. Definitely would recommend to stay there when in Warsaw

What could be improved: There is nothing to dislike

  • We had a wonderful stay there and we'll be glad to stay there again if we ever come back to Warsaw – Gersende from France – August 14, 2023 (10/10)

The place is ideally located and very clean. My son and I loved it!

What could be improved: It was difficult to make ourselves understood by the man at the parking entrance because he could speak Polish only, but he was very nice and helpful.

  • Good location and comfortable apartment – Silver_wrist from Poland – August 11, 2024 (8/10)

The location is great, beds were comfortable, wifi working, instruction rather clear. The host was kind, when we were a little bit late to check out.

What could be improved: I would probably not stay in this apartment again. The cost was a little bit too high considering aesthetics of the apartment (esp. living room/kitchen and bathroom) in comparison to other offers I have been choosing in Warsaw. This apartment could use an update overall. I did not like religious objects on display. It added to the feeling that we are staying at somebody's private apartment rather than booking.com/rental apartment.

  • A decent place with parking available – Mykolas from Lithuania – July 26, 2024 (9/10)

Spacious and clean apartment which met our expectations.
Stocked with tea, coffee, bottled water, etc.
Felt extra safe as there is a 24/7 security guard in the lobby.
Gated parking for 10 PLN per 24 hrs. is actually quite a good deal as finding a spot on the street can be not so easy.

What could be improved: Apartment is next to a street where people like to show off their noisy sports cars. It was a bit of a problem as we were staying during a heat wave and we wanted to keep windows open (there is no AC).
Getting into parking can be a bit confusing as payment is in cash-only and security guards do not speak any English at all. Also they wanted for parking to be paid upfront while host described that we should pay upon leaving. Make sure to have 10+ PLN in cash upon arrival. Security guard offered to accept Euro but that did not sound as a good deal for us.

  • Everything is fine 👌 – Natalia from Ireland – October 17, 2023 (9/10)

good area, convenient location, center, transport, everything is accessible. Photos correspond to reality. There is an elevator since the apartment is on the 8th floor. The view from the window is beautiful. The apartment is spacious, clean.

    What could be improved: –

  • Great location, clean, excellent value and terrific host – Petr from Poland – May 27, 2023 (10/10)

Great location, clean, and excellent value. Great host!

  • Good – Zuza from Poland – August 13, 2024 (7/10)

Location is the biggest advantage of this apartment, comfort was quite good but not great. Apartment was plain and clean, perfect for 1-2 nights.

What could be improved: Entire building looks bad, it definietely needs renovation. Such blocks are being often visited by cockroaches, so that was my biggest anxiety there 🙂
