Hotel Description

So I stayed at ClickTheFlat on Chmielna 7 for a long weekend in Warsaw, and honestly? It’s one of those places that grows on you. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Śródmieście – you know, that classic Warsaw mix of pre-war charm with some obvious renovations over the decades. The apartment I got was on the third floor (no elevator, just so you know), and while it’s definitely a solid 3-star setup, there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook – I mean, really cook, not just heat up instant noodles. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because there’s a small Żabka right around the corner, and honestly, the coffee I made was better than what I’d been getting at some of the tourist cafés anyway.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the heart of everything without being right on top of the chaos. Chmielna street is this nice little pocket that’s close enough to walk to the Old Town (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the shops), but it’s not constantly buzzing with tour groups. The trams on Marszałkowska are literally a two-minute walk, which is clutch if you want to get around the city quickly. I spent one evening just wandering down toward Nowy Świat, and you really get a feel for how locals actually live in this part of the city – it’s not all pierogies and folk dancing, you know? The apartment itself was quiet enough, though you’ll definitely hear some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper. Nothing crazy, just the normal sounds of people actually living their lives.

What I really appreciated was how straightforward everything was. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually worked well (I had to do some work calls), and the shower had proper water pressure – you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case in older Warsaw buildings. The furnishing is pretty basic but comfortable, sort of like staying at a friend’s place who has decent taste but isn’t trying to impress anyone. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works and it feels clean and lived-in rather than sterile. The 7.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and honest about what it is. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re actually staying in Warsaw rather than some generic hotel bubble, this place hits that sweet spot. Plus, being able to grab groceries and cook dinner while planning the next day’s adventures? That’s worth something, especially if you’re staying more than just a night or two.

  It was clean and nice

  I had liked then Property and location quite much. But only issue I have faced that there is no one to reach If u need any help . Call is not answered and email reply takes time.

  What could be improved: Only found out that there are stairs only after booking and the bathroom was tiny and not very clean. It’s also a bit noisy but that’s to be expected with the location so maybe the hosts could have provided ear buffers to cancel the noise.

  What could be improved: If you have noisy neighbours you will suffer,the walls are very thin,also the same address of the apartment is for the hotel with the same NAME something that will make you really frustrated until you find the flat! I spend lot of time searching the apartment ,also some description on how to use the chipset in the main door the non check in hours would be useful,we are not all living in cities like this and same system on doors!

  The room was spacious and quiet, the building being at the back there was not much noise. It has all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. It's not luxurious but the essentials are there and the rooms are quite pleasant. Ideally located. Excellent value for money.
  
  What could be improved: The blanket wasn't too suitable for this change of season. I put the heating on but I have to admit I was a bit cold. There was also a problem with the toilet paper, there wasn't any for a whole day and the cleaning lady put some back when she came the next day. It was probably other customers who took it … but I'm not the only one who had to make do with the tissues I had. Perhaps leave one roll per room or several rolls in a cupboard to avoid this kind of problem which can make a night very unpleasant.

  What could be improved: The bed made noise with every movement while the mattress & pillows were not the most comfortable. The kitchen has no window or working ventilation so whenever someone cooks, the entire apartment smells like their food especially when someone frying.
  It is also located on 3rd floor so whoever has heavy luggages, keep that in mind because no lifts available.
