You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from ClickTheFlat Tamka Street Apart Rooms when I first booked it – the name alone sounds like something a tech startup would come up with. But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right on Tamka Street in Śródmieście, which I mean, if you know Warsaw at all, puts you basically in the heart of everything without the tourist circus that surrounds the Old Town. I could walk to the Royal Castle in maybe ten minutes, but more importantly, I was right near all those little cafes and bars that locals actually go to. The building itself has that classic Warsaw character – you know, the kind that survived everything this city’s been through – and when you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the place rather than just cramming tourists in and out.

The apart rooms (and they really are more like small apartments than hotel rooms) have this lived-in quality that I actually loved. My room had these big windows that let in tons of light, and honestly, the morning coffee routine felt way better than it ever does in those sterile chain hotels. The kitchen setup is basic but totally functional – I made breakfast a few times and picked up groceries at the Żabka just down the street. What really got me was how quiet it was at night, which is sort of miraculous considering you’re right in the city center. I think the courtyard design helps with that, plus Tamka isn’t one of those streets where drunk tourists stumble around at 3 AM. The WiFi actually worked (shocking, I know), and there’s this little courtyard area where I saw other guests hanging out with coffee in the mornings – it felt more like staying in a neighborhood than a hotel.

Look, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or anything – this is a solid 3-star place that knows what it is. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no upselling or tourist trap recommendations, just practical info about the area. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (honestly, just don’t drive in Warsaw if you can help it), but the public transport connections are excellent. Tram stops everywhere, and you can get to Centralna station in no time. I stayed there in early fall and the whole area just felt alive – students heading to classes, people walking their dogs, that authentic city rhythm you don’t get in tourist zones. The cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work, and while the decor isn’t Instagram-worthy or anything, everything felt clean and well-maintained. For the price point and that location, I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

  Location for me was excellent. Near the old town, metro station and cafes/restaurants. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable bed. Clean toilets and good size shower. Coffee and tea available. Full communal kitchen where you can prepare meals if you wish. Excellent value for the money spent. Nice view over the roofs of Warsaw. Weather was not the best for the use of the balcony but in in the summer it must be lovely. 10th floor but there is a lift so no problem.

  What could be improved: The kitchen facilities was not adequate. The microwave was oddly placed and it didn’t work. There was a washing machine and dryer I wanted to use but there were clothes inside that was not removed while I was there, so I couldn’t wash my clothes.
