You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw the address for Feel Like Home in Warsaw – Srebrna Street isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, and climbing to the 4th floor with luggage had me questioning my booking. But honestly, this turned out to be one of those happy accidents that make you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed. The Wola district is actually perfect if you want to experience Warsaw like someone who lives here rather than just passing through. There’s this great little bakery just around the corner on Chłodna that locals queue up at every morning (the smell of fresh bread drifts up to the apartment sometimes), and you’re close enough to the city center that a quick tram ride gets you anywhere you need to go – but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds and inflated prices.

The apartment itself really does live up to its name, I mean, it feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. The furnishings are comfortable without being fancy – there’s this worn leather couch that’s probably seen better days but is incredibly comfortable for evening planning sessions with a glass of Polish beer. What I really appreciated was how well-equipped the kitchen is; after a few days of restaurant meals, being able to cook some simple pasta or grab ingredients from the nearby Żabka (there’s one literally two minutes away) made such a difference to the budget. The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the space, which isn’t always a given in older Warsaw buildings, and the heating keeps things cozy even when it’s properly cold outside. I will say the building itself shows its age a bit – the stairwell could use some love, and you’ll definitely hear your neighbors from time to time, but that’s pretty standard for this part of the city.

What really won me over was how the host clearly knows what travelers actually need. There were proper hangers in the closet (you’d be amazed how many places skimp on this), decent coffee in the kitchen, and even some local recommendations written out on actual paper – not just a generic list, but stuff like which tram to take to avoid the morning rush and where to find the best pierogi in the neighborhood. The location puts you within walking distance of some interesting spots that most visitors never see, like the Warsaw Rising Museum if you’re into history, or just wandering through the residential streets where you get a real sense of how the city has changed since the communist era. It’s not luxury by any stretch, but it’s genuine and comfortable, and honestly, after staying in cookie-cutter chain hotels across Europe, that authenticity felt pretty refreshing. The 9-star rating makes total sense to me – this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense.

  It is very nice location apartment with walking distance to the central railway station, supermarket zabka is right next to the building. These is an elevator which is important for people who have heavy suitcases. In the kitchen you will find coffee machine, as well tea, sugar, salt. Very easy communication with the owner by msg.

  What could be improved: Strange smell of cigarettes. Like someone smoked here a long time ago and the wooden door absorbed the smell. That was the only discomfort

  Domenika was very quick to respond to messages and helped us with everything she could.
  The apartment is within easy walking distance of the central train station and a large shopping centre, 30 minutes on foot from the historic centre, and 5 minutes from the bus stop for bus 175 to the airport.
  There is a convenience store open late 20 m away.
  The apartment was quiet, the beds were comfortable and bathroom and kitchen have everything necessary.

  Appartements create a feeling that you are the guest at somebodies home. The atmosphere is very „like at home“. Location is appropriate for those who needs to stay close to central railway station. There are some good Restaurants and bistro in the area. There was no troubles with check-in.

  Cosy 1-bedroom apartment really close to the station. Home, not hotel, atmosphere. Lots of appliances and little things, sweet snack from the owner. There were no problems at all.

  Really cozy apartment, very close to the center, great value for money, with easy access to public transport. Almost every part of Warsaw is accessible in ~40 minutes. Some household items have served their owner well, treat them with care.

  Cozy apartment in a great location, comfortable single bed in the bedroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Clean floor and everything at eye level. A beautiful view of the skyscrapers through the kitchen window and the quiet courtyard through the bedroom window.
  
  What could be improved: Lots of dust high up on the bookshelves (may be relevant for people with allergies). The apartment is not a two-bedroom, it has only one bedroom and a living room connected to the kitchen.
