You know what surprised me most about Folk apartment? The moment I walked in, it felt like I’d stumbled into someone’s carefully curated home rather than a typical hotel space. I mean, most places with a 4-star rating try so hard to be everything to everyone that they end up feeling sort of… sterile. But this place actually has personality.

The apartment itself is honestly beautifully designed – there’s this mix of modern touches with what I’d call thoughtful vintage pieces that don’t feel forced or Instagram-staged. The kitchen (and yes, you get a real kitchen) had everything I actually needed, not just the bare minimum most places throw in. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because the local market nearby had these amazing fresh ingredients, and honestly? It was nice to have proper counter space and decent knives for once. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, which – let’s be real – happens more often than it should when you’re traveling.

What really won me over, though, were the small details that show someone actually thinks about what guests need. Good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light (you’d be amazed how many places mess this up), and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi was consistently strong in every corner of the apartment. I work remotely sometimes when I travel, and there’s nothing worse than finding that one dead zone right where you need to set up your laptop. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here a few days. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything just… works the way it should. Check-in was straightforward, the space was immaculately clean, and when I had a small issue with the air conditioning, they sorted it out within an hour without making me feel like I was being a pain about it. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice as much where getting fresh towels felt like negotiating a peace treaty, so that responsiveness really stood out. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in feel that I really liked – you know, actual people going about their daily lives rather than just tourist spots stacked on top of each other. Perfect for morning coffee runs and evening walks when you want to decompress from whatever brought you to town.

  Great apartment on the ground floor (street level) of the building, offering a terrace and a small garden from the patio side. Despite the ground floor location it was very quiet and it is also covered from the pedestrian pathway by a fence and some greenery so it is almost impossible to take a peek through any window inside the apartment (there are also window blinds installed). The apartment has spacious rooms, a large bathroom and an equipped kitchen. TV and WiFi working without any problem. The instructions on how to get to the apartment, open the door and access the garage were clear and sent a day before the reservation. Contact with the host was easy. For those wanting to move around the city, the bus stops are approx. 5-8 min walking distance, similar to shops where you can find groceries, medicines, etc. An additional bonus, apart from the washing machine located in the apartment there is a self-service laundry on the corner of the same building which allows washing and drying your clothes if you need to. Overall, great experience.

  Excellent apartments. Clean, spacious. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utensils. There is a free parking space in the underground parking. The owners even thought about such a trifle as matching the style of the dishes with the overall style of the room. Very cool.

  The apartment is spacious, clean, quiet, in a modern neighborhood. Very important for people traveling by car – a free parking place in the underground garage accessible by a next-door elevator. A small garden with a terrace is attached to the apartment. Another convenient feature: flexible check in/out hours. Good S.M.S, communication with the host; easy way to get the keys to both apartment and garage. For people traveling by car: the city center may be reached in 10 minutes.
