The building itself has character (you can tell it’s been around), and they’ve done something smart with the restoration that keeps the original bones while making everything feel polished and comfortable.

What really won me over was how they handle the boutique concept without making you feel like you’re staying in someone’s overly curated Instagram feed. The rooms have personality – actual personality, not just throw pillows and generic art. There’s attention to detail that you notice gradually, like the way the lighting works or how quiet everything stays despite being right in the heart of Old Town. Speaking of which, the location is honestly perfect if you want to be walking distance from everything that matters, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of being directly on the main tourist drag. You’ll hear some street life, but it’s the good kind – people heading to dinner, not party chaos at 3 AM.

The service here hits that sweet spot where people actually seem to know what they’re doing without being stuffy about it. Check-in was smooth, and when I asked about restaurants nearby, the front desk person gave me actual recommendations, not just the usual tourist spots. That’s the kind of thing that tells you the staff either lives in the area or has been trained by someone who does. Honestly, with an 8.9 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but sometimes high ratings come from hotels that are just… fine. This one earns it.   The room was spacious, very clean and the decoration was nice; I usually do not take my breakfast in the hotel since I prefer a simple morning coffee with a croissant. The location is great, one can reach almost any common point of interest by foot. The street on which the hotel is located is full of restaurants and coffee shops, and it is very busy until late at night, but the room is conveniently sound isolated.

  I stayed in the William Shakespeare room, which had gorgeous theming and is the only room with a balcony. Despite overlooking the busy Nowy Swiat (an epic location, by the way), it was very quiet and the curtains kept all the light out. The bed was so comfy and I had the most wonderful sleep! The room was the perfect space for one person with a good-sized bathroom and great A/C and wifi. The hotel had so much character too. I didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but all of the staff were so helpful and humored me as a I practiced my terrible Polish language skills. I will absolutely stay here next time I'm in Warsaw!
