Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place called “Luxury Apartment” on Złota Street – you know how these names can be pretty hit or miss. But this little gem at number 9 actually lives up to the hype, and I mean that. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos around the Old Town. Złota Street puts you right in Śródmieście, which locals will tell you is where the real Warsaw happens – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (love it or hate it, it’s impossible to miss), and Marszałkowska Street is right there with all its shops and that constant buzz of people heading somewhere important. What I really loved was how you can duck into those little side streets and find proper Polish milk bars where office workers grab lunch, or wander over to the Saxon Garden when you need a breather from the city energy.

The apartment itself surprised me – it’s got this modern, clean vibe that doesn’t feel sterile, if that makes sense. The windows are big enough that you actually get decent light even on those gray Warsaw days (and trust me, there are plenty of those), and the space feels bigger than you’d expect for the price range. I appreciated little touches like having a proper coffee maker and not just those awful instant packets, plus the shower actually has good water pressure, which honestly can be a gamble in older Warsaw buildings. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and the heating worked well – important when you’re visiting between October and March because Warsaw winters don’t mess around. One small thing though, you can hear the trams occasionally, but it’s more of a gentle rumble than anything disruptive, and actually kind of nice in that urban lullaby way.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The host clearly knows what travelers need – there were adapters available, decent Wi-Fi that didn’t cut out every ten minutes, and they left some local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. You’re close enough to walk to most things you’ll want to see, but also near the metro if your feet give out or the weather turns nasty. The building entrance is a bit understated, which I actually preferred – no flashy signs or doormen, just a solid, quiet building where you can come and go without feeling like you’re on display. For the price point and that 9.7 rating, I get why people keep coming back here. It’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city like Warsaw.

  Very cozy and nice apartment in a perfect location, within a walking distance from the main train station. Check in and check out not problematic. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped, you can even find tea and coffee there. Also a bouquet of tulips in the kitchen makes you feel like at home. Perfect !

  What could be improved: Jeżeli już mam się czepiać to może sól by się przydała na stanie. To taka rzecz której raczej się nie kupi bo aż kilogram i w zasadzie da się bez niej przeżyć a do jajeczniczki byłaby jak złoto.
