Hotel Description
You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first saw the name “Old Town Heart XIV – POLIN Museum” – it sounds like someone just threw together the most touristy Warsaw keywords they could think of. But after staying there twice now, I get it. The place is literally a three-minute walk from the POLIN Museum (hence the name), and you’re right in the thick of Śródmieście without being on one of those crazy busy streets that never quiet down. Dubois is actually this lovely little side street that feels almost residential, which means you can sleep with the windows open in summer without wanting to murder every passing tram.
The building itself has that classic Warsaw character – I mean, it’s not some restored palace or anything fancy, but it’s got those high ceilings and thick walls that keep things cool even when it’s sweltering outside. What really surprised me was how quiet it stays, considering you’re basically in the center of everything. The rooms are honestly bigger than what you’d expect for a 3-star place in this part of town, and whoever designed them actually thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone (revolutionary concept, I know). The beds are proper comfortable – not those rock-hard European mattresses that leave you feeling like you’ve been sleeping on a park bench. There’s this nice mix of modern touches without trying too hard to be trendy, if that makes sense.
Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place though – the location is just ridiculously good for exploring. You can walk to the Old Town in about eight minutes, but you’re also close enough to the more interesting parts of Śródmieście where actual Varsovians hang out. There’s this excellent pierogi place called Zapiecek just around the corner (though honestly, skip the touristy one on the market square and hit the smaller location), and you’re walking distance from some really solid bars on Nowy Świat. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too – when I asked about getting to Praga district, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the obvious tourist route but suggested this great little shortcut through the park. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around there (welcome to Warsaw city center), but they’ll sort you out with some options that won’t break the bank. I’ve stayed in fancier places in Warsaw that felt sterile and overpriced, but this spot just works. It’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable and well-located without the markup you usually pay for being in the absolute heart of things.

The staff are amazing—they accommodated both early check-in and late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The location is fantastic, and the apartment offers a wonderful view. Additionally, the place was spotless and very clean.
Awesome place – Anna from United States – November 26, 2024 (10/10)
Everything was great. The location was exactly what I needed this time in Warsaw. This place is extremely cosy and the bed very comfy. Patricia was helpful and fast with responses. Overall great place. Thank you
What could be improved: Nothing to complainVery Good – Andrii from Germany – May 14, 2025 (8/10)
Nice small apartment super close to the city center, great value for money, has all the basics one might need for a couple of days stay.
What could be improved: No dedicated parking spot so you need to be lucky to find a public parking place nearby.Very Good – Abigail from Malta – May 24, 2024 (8/10)
Apartment is cosy and super clean, and comes with everything you need and more (coffee, shower gel packets, hair dryer etc). The neighbourhood is calm and you have all amenities nearby as well.
What could be improved: Hosts are not the most responsive. Messaged the property a few times to see if I could check in an hour earlier since I had meetings for work, but I was left without a proper answer. Hosts did not message on the day as promised, I would have preferred it if they said that they couldn't accommodate the request from the very start rather than leave me hanging.Good – Natalya from Lithuania – April 29, 2024 (7/10)
Comfortable bed
What could be improved: The water was leaking from the shower to the bathroom floor, needs repairingWonderful – Krzysztof from Poland – July 3, 2025 (9/10)
Wygodne łóżko, cicha okolica w samym centrum, wyposażenie pokoju i czystość
Very Good – Dominika from Poland – April 9, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: Jedynym minusem jest nieprzyjemny zapach z kanalizacji.Exceptional – Wojciech from Poland – March 31, 2025 (10/10)
Będę wracał. Wszystko czego potrzeba do podróży służbowej
Rewelacja! – Wiesław from Poland – March 26, 2025 (10/10)
Świetne miejsce, bez zarzutu. Miejscówka idealna. Miłe akcenty na powitanie. Czysto, wygodnie. Na pewno wrócę.
W porządku 🙂 – Agnieszka from Poland – February 18, 2025 (9/10)
Ogólnie, czysto i wygodnie,
What could be improved: Bardzo śmierdziało z łazienki, i ciężko było wyregulować wodę, do tego wszystko słychać od sąsiadów i z pola, ale na jedną noc całkiem ok
