You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Warsaw, and Pańska Residence really surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on Pańska Street in Wola – which, honestly, isn’t the most glamorous district name-wise, but here’s the thing everyone misses about this area: you’re actually in a perfect sweet spot. I mean, you can walk to the Palace of Culture in about fifteen minutes, but you’re far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep at night. The building itself has this understated elegance – it’s not trying too hard, if you know what I mean. When I first walked in, the lobby had this warm, residential feel that made me think “oh, this is going to be good.”

The rooms are what really sold me though. Everything feels thoughtfully put together without being fussy about it. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about this – too many hotels have those rock-hard mattresses that leave you feeling like you wrestled a bear), and the bathrooms actually have decent water pressure, which is honestly a small miracle in some Warsaw hotels. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Pańska can get a bit busy during the day with local traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s remarkably quiet. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right too. During check-in, the receptionist gave me actual useful recommendations for dinner spots nearby, not just the usual tourist traps. She pointed me toward this little Georgian place around the corner that I never would have found otherwise.

Location-wise, you’re really well positioned here. Rondo ONZ is just a short walk away, which means you’ve got metro access and can zip around the city easily. But what I loved most was being able to explore Wola properly – it’s got this interesting mix of old residential streets and new development that gives you a real feel for how Warsaw is evolving. There’s a decent grocery store practically next door (Żabka, naturally), and if you’re into coffee, there’s this little specialty place about two blocks down that does proper espresso. The area gets pretty lively on weekend evenings – nothing crazy, just people heading out to dinner or drinks – but it dies down by around midnight. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, though the hotel can help you figure out the street parking situation. I mean, it’s Warsaw, so parking is always going to be somewhat of an adventure, but they at least know which streets to avoid and when. For a three-star place, Pańska Residence honestly punches above its weight – it’s got that rare combination of being professionally run without feeling corporate, comfortable without being boring, and well-located without the premium pricing you’d expect.

  Excellent location, close to tram and metro. Only 2 tram stops from main train station and in easy walking distance. Right across the street from Fabrika Norblina, so there’s a great choice of restaurants.
  Host is super responsive and very helpful.
  The building is one of the old socialist housing blocks (see photo) so you get a real sense of history.
  Apartment inside is exactly like the photos show.

  The house is super clean and cozy, there are even utensils for you to use. The host is the kindest, he even left me towels to use. Moreover, he allowed one of my friends to come over for a few hours. He is also very responsive. The location is also very close to the main road.
  
  What could be improved: There is only one lift and it's a pretty big building so sometimes takes a while for it to come. but that doesn't really take away any points for me, great stay. Would 100% rebook if I was in Warsaw

  The position is strategic to quickly reach the city centre and the airport. The view is nice. The apartment is well organised and sufficiently clean.
  The host is kind, friendly, and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The beds (mattress and pillows) should be improved to make them more comfortable.

  Great location, great wifi, great view, lots of space, balcony, thick curtains that don't let the sun inside and can sleep till late !
