Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Sąsiad Syrenki – Old Town Apartment on Nowiniarska Street, you immediately know you’ve found something special. This four-star apartment sits right in the beating heart of Warsaw’s Old Town, and I mean literally — you’re surrounded by cobblestone streets and those gorgeous reconstructed medieval buildings that make this area so magical. The building itself has that classic Warsaw charm, tucked away on a quiet street that somehow manages to feel both historic and lived-in.
The Perfect Old Town Location
Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable if you want to experience authentic Warsaw. You’re a two-minute walk from the famous Mermaid statue and the Royal Castle, but here’s what I really love — you can actually escape the tourist crowds by just stepping around the corner. The locals clearly know something good when they see it, because couples consistently rate this spot a 9.4 for romantic getaways. There’s something about being able to grab fresh bread from the corner bakery in the morning, then spend your afternoon exploring castle grounds that just works perfectly.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is that you’re getting a real apartment experience, not just another hotel room. The space feels like someone’s carefully curated Warsaw home — and I mean that in the best way possible. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup, which honestly saved me quite a bit of money since Warsaw’s Old Town restaurants can add up quickly. The decor strikes that sweet spot between modern comfort and local character, with touches that remind you exactly where you are without going overboard on the theme.
Neighborhood Life
Here’s what you won’t get from most hotel descriptions — this area actually comes alive at different times of day, and staying here lets you experience all of it. Mornings are quiet and peaceful, perfect for coffee and planning your day. Afternoons bring a gentle buzz of tourists and locals mixing together around the square. But evenings? That’s when the magic happens, with soft lighting on the historic buildings and the sound of conversations drifting from nearby restaurant terraces. You’re close enough to join the action, but far enough to retreat when you need some peace.
Why Guests Love It
The 7.9 rating tells you this place delivers on its promises, but what really stands out is how it balances tourist convenience with authentic local living. You’re not staying in some generic hotel corridor — you’re temporarily becoming a Warsaw resident in one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. The excellent location score of 9.4 isn’t just about being close to attractions (though you definitely are), it’s about being positioned perfectly to understand how this historic area actually functions as a living, breathing part of the city. Plus, having your own space means you can start and end each day on your own terms, which makes a real difference when you’re exploring a city as rich as Warsaw.

Guest Reviews
Pleasant and comfortable stay.
The location is truly excellent, situated in a welcoming and peaceful neighborhood. It is incredibly close to Warsaw's Old Town, where you can enjoy breakfast and savor local cuisine. The ambiance of the place is very warm and inviting.
What could be improved: The overall cleanliness could benefit from a bit more attention, but it's certainly nothing excessive.
Wonderful
Close to old town, minutes to restaurants and shops.
What could be improved: No elevator
Ideal property for visiting Warsaw
Bright, modern and tastefully decorated flat in the convenient and quiet residential location of Muranow with all amenities and within walking distance from the Old Town Market Square with its cafes and restaurants.
What could be improved: The building has no lift and the flat is at the fourth floor which was fine as my colleague and I were travelling with light hand luggage.
Absolutely worth for this money
Perfect location, facilities, staff, amount of space in apartments
What could be improved: Too hot at summer, apartment was not cleaned properly
Disappointing
Very good location, well equipped, spacious and light apartment, good communication with the Host.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean at all, the first two hours of our stay in Warsaw we spent vacuum cleaning, dusting the furniture, cleaning the shower and the toilet, so that we can use it at all.
Exceptional
Great apartment in the Old Town of Warsaw (5mins away from the main tourist attractions and restaurants). Great communication from the host throughout our stay who also accommodated an early check in. The apartment is modern, clean and has a good layout to accommodate 3 people.
What could be improved: Nothing
Exceptional
The flat is very comfortable, and it was sparkling clean.
What could be improved: It is located in a 4th floor and there is not elevator... so you have to go up the stairs with the luggage. Still the stairs were quite easy to climb.

What could be improved: No elevator, not very clean shower, no lock in the bathroom, not very clean sofa
