You know what? I was honestly surprised by how much I liked staying at Schillera Apartments. I mean, the name’s a bit of a mouthful – Schillera Apartments Warsaw by Noclegi Renters – but once you’re there, none of that matters. The building sits right on Leona Schillera street in Śródmieście, which is actually perfect because you’re in the heart of everything without being stuck on one of those crazy busy main drags that never quiet down. I walked to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, and there’s this little café called Karma Coffee just around the corner that locals seem to love (their cortado is legitimately good, by the way). The apartment itself felt way more spacious than I expected – you get that high-ceiling thing that these old Warsaw buildings do so well, and honestly, after staying in cramped hotel rooms across Europe, having a proper living area and kitchen was such a relief.

What really sold me on this place was how it actually feels like you’re living in Warsaw, not just visiting it. The neighborhood has that lived-in vibe – you’ll see people walking their dogs in the morning, kids heading to school, the whole thing. There’s a Żabka convenience store literally two minutes away (essential for late-night snack runs), and if you need groceries, there’s a decent Carrefour about a ten-minute walk toward the Palace of Culture. The apartment comes with everything you’d actually need – the wifi works properly, the shower has good pressure, and the kitchen has real dishes, not those flimsy things some places give you. I will say the street can get a bit noisy on weekend evenings since there are some bars nearby, but honestly? It’s not terrible, and it dies down by midnight usually. Plus, if you’re the type who likes to grab a drink after dinner, you’re already in the right spot.

The whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby situation. They send you the codes beforehand, and you just let yourself in, which I actually prefer when I’m arriving late or just want to get settled without small talk. The building itself has character (translation: it’s old but well-maintained), and our apartment was on the third floor with these great big windows that let in tons of light. During my stay in October, the heating worked perfectly, which isn’t always a given in these converted buildings. Location-wise, you’re really well positioned – Nowy Świat is walkable, the metro’s close enough when you need it, and you can easily get to both the trendy Praga district and the more touristy areas without feeling like you’re commuting. For the price point and that 8.4 rating, it honestly delivers. It’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable, clean, and gives you that local experience that makes Warsaw trips memorable.

  Clean, modern apartment. Felt really homely. Able to prepare and cook meals a few nights thanks to their spacious well equiped kitchen.
  Location was excellent. Short stroll to the old town, and public transport was just up the road.
  We bought a 3 day ticket for just 36 Zloty, a real bargain.
  Many cafes, eateries around the property, and there is even a convenience store too.
  
  What could be improved: Could have done with a toaster. Had to heat up oven for a bit of toast in the morning.
  Couild have done with replenished towels. There were 3 of us, and the property only provided 3 bath towels, and 2 hand towels. Ended up putting them through the laundry.
  Plenty of tv channels, but most of these were coded. For a property listed on booking.com, they could have made some English channels available.
  The rest off the tv seemed to have streaming, and you have to pay for those. Anyway only a minor issue, but I so would have loved to watch the US Open Tennis finals.
  Apart from that all went well.

  Great place to stay next to Warsaw's old town – just a few steps away from great restaurants, small stores to get a water and breakfast stuff. It felt like home. Very nice design, loved the book of posters. Everything looks brand new, designed in a very good taste. The master bedroom has a lovely balcony.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet lies in a different compartment accessible from the hallway, apart from the rest of the bathroom. A super tiny sink would be lovely in there – a classical doorknob might also help.

  What could be improved: I received lots of mails from the owner with guidance ( thank you ) at the day of arrival and therefore I missed the important mail with the keys instructions . My fault. We were busy with the traveling challenges.

  The flat is well-equipped, located near to the city center. The beds are comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: There was a really strong bad smell from the sink in the bathroom. I've reported this to the owner but all they did was offering me 10% off the next booking. It is not satisfactory for the flat for about 100 dollars per night.

  What could be improved: Las habitaciones no tienen cortinas, solo una persiana que deja toda la luz entrar, a las 4 de la mañana en nuestro caso! Tuvimos que dormir con antifaces! Toda la comunicación e instrucciones son por mensaje, funciona bien pero es frío.

  Дуже гарне квартира, чисто і охайно. Дуже гарне розташування, в пеший доступності всі історічні і турістичні місця. В теж самий час будинок знаходиться в середині і нечутно шуму. Дуже рекомендую усім і сам буду зупинятися тут наступного разу.
  Bardzo ładne mieszkanie, czyste i zadbane. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, wszystkie miejsca historyczne i turystyczne znajdują się w odległości spaceru. Jednocześnie dom jest pośrodku i nie słychać żadnego hałasu. Gorąco polecam wszystkim i sam zatrzymam się tu następnym razem.
  Very nice apartment, clean and tidy. Very good location, all historical and touristic places are within walking distance. At the same time, the house is located in the middle and there is no noise. Would highly recommend to anyone and will be staying here myself next time.
  
  What could be improved: Не така уж незручність но дверні ручки у ваній кімнаті і туалуті не дуже зручні.
  Порада – в спальні замість односпального ліжка може встати двухспальне ліжко.
  Nie jest to taka niedogodność, ale klamki w łazience i toalecie nie są zbyt wygodne.
  Wskazówka – w sypialni zamiast pojedynczego łóżka zmieści się łóżko podwójne.
  Not such an inconvenience, but the door handles in the bathroom and toilet are not very convenient.
  Tip – a double bed can fit in the bedroom instead of a single bed.
