Hotel Description
You know what, I wasn’t expecting much from ToTuToTam Studio when I first booked it – honestly, the name made me think it might be some quirky artist’s loft or something. But this little place on Stawki turned out to be exactly what I needed for my Warsaw stay. It’s tucked into Śródmieście in this spot that feels residential but isn’t too far from everything you actually want to see. The building itself has that classic Warsaw character – you know, the kind that survived whatever the city’s been through and just keeps going. When you’re walking up to it, there’s this small courtyard entrance that feels almost hidden, which I actually loved because it meant I could slip in and out without dealing with crowds of tourists.
The studio setup is pretty clever, actually. I mean, it’s not huge – you’re definitely not getting a sprawling hotel suite here – but whoever designed it really thought about how people actually use space. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s this little kitchenette area that’s way more functional than those sad hotel coffee stations. I ended up grabbing groceries from the Żabka down the street and making breakfast a couple mornings, which honestly saved me money and felt more normal than hotel dining. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with good water pressure – something you don’t always get in older Warsaw buildings. One thing that struck me was how quiet it stays at night. Stawki isn’t a party street, so you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes.
What really sold me on this place was the location knowledge you get from staying here. The owner (or maybe it was the person checking me in – hard to tell with these smaller places) actually gave me directions that locals would give, not the tourist-trap route. Like, they told me to cut through this little passage near the Barbican that I never would’ve found otherwise, and pointed me toward this milk bar on Freta that doesn’t even have English signage but serves the best pierogi I had in Warsaw. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works properly and you feel like you’re staying somewhere real instead of some generic hotel bubble. I had zero issues with check-in, the WiFi actually worked well enough for video calls (tested it for work stuff), and the whole vibe just felt… reliable, I guess? Plus, parking around there isn’t the nightmare it is in some parts of Śródmieście, though I’d still recommend walking or using public transport for most things. The tram connections are solid from that area.

The place was really cozy and nice. The owner was nice and was easy to reach anytime. The balcony is amazing and the kitchen had everything needed. Bus and tram stops just outside the building. Nice neighborhood also.

The location of the property is exceptional and the balcony is a big plus
What could be improved: The property was in general NOT clean. Bedsheets with fluid signs, cups and cutlery not well cleaned, floor not swiped in some areas etc.
The pictures were also disappointing, the quality of the paint and the furniture is not as good as it looks.
The toilet lights turn off whenever they want.UDANY POBYT ! – Aleksandra from Poland – July 28, 2025 (10/10)
